    The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a midnight price hike for various fuels. In a recent statement, NOC revealed that petrol prices will increase by Rs 2 per liter, while diesel and kerosene will go up by Rs 6 per liter. Additionally, the cost of aviation fuel will rise by Rs 8 per liter.

    Furthermore, the price of liquefied petroleum (LP) gas will experience a substantial increase of Rs 215 per cylinder, making the new price for an LP gas cylinder Rs 2,110.

For eligible investors who have taken loans against the company’s shares, it’s essential to provide a No Objection Letter from their lending institution to receive the dividend.

    Nepal Warehouse Company has obtained approval from SEBON (Securities Board of Nepal) to release 13.65 lakh ordinary shares to the public, with the offering scheduled for Ashoj 10, 2080.

    The company has already established and initiated operations for a 40 MT warehouse in Sunsari and Parsa districts. Additionally, they are in the process of constructing a warehouse with a capacity of 15,000 MT in Kapilvastu, as mentioned in their official media statement.

This followed a loss of 18.60 points on Wednesday. The trading day began with the index opening at 2,004.58, reaching a low point of 1,964.44, and a high of 2,005.32.

    During today’s trading, there were 284 different stocks traded in a total of 82,378 transactions. The total volume of shares traded amounted to 6,656,732, resulting in a turnover of Rs. 1.83 Arba. The overall market capitalization stood at Rs. 29.88 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.53 Kharba.

    I tried to also find the different classifications NEPSE uses like A, B, G and Z. So would appreciate any help regarding this? Thanks!

    Today marks the final opportunity for investors to claim the cash dividends offered by five mutual funds.

    NMB Hybrid Fund L-1 and NMB 50 have both declared a 15% cash dividend for the fiscal year 2079/80, with their book closure date set on Ashwin 12. Therefore, investors holding units in either of these mutual funds up to today are eligible to receive the dividend payout.

    Similarly, Prabhu Capital Limited has chosen to distribute a 9.50% cash dividend to unitholders of Prabhu Select Fund (PSF) for the fiscal year 2079/80.     The price of precious gold has fallen by Rs. 800 per tola (fine gold) today when compared to the trading price on Tuesday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is currently being traded at Rs. 111,000 per tola, marking a decrease from Tuesday’s price of Rs. 111,800 per tola.

    Similarly, Tejabi gold can now be purchased at Rs. 110,450 per tola, in contrast to the previous day’s price of Rs. 111,250 per tola.

    In a similar vein, the price of silver has declined by Rs. 15 today in comparison to Tuesday’s rate and is now available in the market at Rs. 1,385.

    Citizen Life Insurance Company Limited (CLI) has successfully listed 37,500,000 IPO shares on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). This includes shares held by the company’s promoters as well as those issued to the general public.

    The initial trading range for these shares is set between Rs. 172.43 and Rs. 517.29. If CLI enters into an agreement with NEPSE, these IPO shares will become available for trading in the secondary market the following day.

    Among the total 37,500,000 shares, 90,00,000 IPO shares were offered to the general public at a price of Rs. 244 per share, which comprises a face value of Rs. 100 and a premium of Rs. 144 per share. This offering took place from the 15th to the 19th of Bhadra, 2080.
