Deposit collection increases in the fourth week of Poush, while lending remains relatively stable.


The detailed report on the deposit and lending trends in the country’s commercial banks been released. This is the information as of Poush 23, 2078, which is the fourth week’s last working day. As of this date, the CD is 89.68 percent.

In the fourth week of Poush, total deposits increased by Rs. 58 billion, bringing the total to Rs. 4,307 billion. This sum increased by Rs. 14 billion from the previous week in the third week. The deposit is worth Rs. 4,209 billion in local currency, with the remaining Rs. 98 billion in foreign currency.

Meanwhile, total loans increased by Rs. 9 billion, bringing the total to Rs. 4,108 billion. In local currency, Rs. 3,994 billion been forwarded, while Rs. 114 billion has been forwarded in foreign money.
