    The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index exhibited a positive trajectory, recording a gain of 0.45% or 9.19 points, closing at 2,036.01 points by the end of today’s trading session. This follows a notable increase of 22.75 points in the previous session, indicating a dynamic market environment.

    Opening at 2,035.2 points, the trading day was characterized by fluctuations, with the index reaching an intraday high of 2,046.61 points before dipping to an intraday low of 2,030.44 points. Such variations underscore the active participation of investors and the responsiveness of the market to various factors.

    Amidst this bustling trading environment, a total of 315 different stocks were traded in 72,261 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 9,789,416, reflecting a total turnover of Rs. 4.14 Arba. The market capitalization closed at Rs. 32.28 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.89 Kharba, indicating significant financial activity within NEPSE.

    One standout highlight of the day was SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Company Limited (SJLIC), which garnered a turnover of Rs. 18.08 Crore and closed at a market price of Rs. 499.10. Additionally, three companies experienced positive circuit movements, contributing to the overall market dynamics.

    The trading began with the index starting at 2,016.8 and hitting a low of 2,015.80 during the day. The market’s highest point during the day was 2,048.26, but it settled at the closing value of 2,045.45.

    The Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at 47.01, up from yesterday’s 40.71. On the other hand, the MACD line remained below the zero line, indicating a reading of -19.16.

    The trading day commenced with the index opening at 2,147.69 and displayed some downward momentum by reaching an intraday low of 2,146.52. However, it also reached an intraday high of 2,171.13 before ultimately settling at its closing value of 2,154.07.

    Throughout the day, a total of 255 scrips were traded in 56,476 transactions. The trading volume amounted to 8,676,438 shares, resulting in a turnover of Rs. 3.54 Arba.

    Among the various stocks, Swabalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWBBL) had the highest turnover, with a value of Rs. 21.77 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 875. The shares of HLI were the most actively traded.

    In terms of individual stock performance, BPW Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (BPW) recorded the highest gain of 10%, while United Ajod Insurance Limited (UAIL) rose by 9.99%, reaching the positive circuit for the day. Conversely, Sanima Large Cap Fund (SLCF) experienced the most significant decline of 5.14%.

    Regarding sector indices, six of them ended the day in negative territory. The “Non-Life Insurance” sector witnessed the highest gain, increasing by 1.55%. On the other hand, the “Hotel and Tourism” sector registered the most significant loss, declining by 1.45%.

    Himalayan Life Insurance Limited (HLI) was the most actively traded stock, with a turnover of Rs. 23.94 crores and a market price of Rs. 532 per share.

    Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF) experienced the most significant decrease, losing 8.95% of its value.

    Among the sector indices, only the “Hotel and Tourism” sector had gains, growing by 2.07%. On the other hand, the “Life Insurance” sector saw the largest decline of 1.83%. This indicates varying performance across sectors, with the Hotel and Tourism sector showing strength while the Life Insurance sector faced setbacks.

    SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) stood out with the highest turnover of Rs. 29.82 crores, closing at a market price of Rs. 563.50 per share. The shares of HIDCLP also saw notable trading activity.

    Six stocks experienced an upward trend and hit the positive circuit for the day, reflecting a significant increase in their market value. On the other hand, Unique Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (UNLB) witnessed a substantial loss of 10% during today’s trading.

    Among the various sector indices, only five closed in the green, with the “Finance” sector showing the highest gain of 5.22%. However, the “Non-Life Insurance” sector recorded the highest loss of 2.48% for the day.

    A total of 280 different stocks were traded today, with a notable number of 70,647 transactions taking place. Throughout these trades, a significant amount of shares, totaling 12,095,966, were exchanged, resulting in a turnover amount of Rs. 4.86 Arba. This represents a higher turnover compared to the previous trading day, which had a turnover of Rs. 3.16 Arba.

    The stock that saw the most trading activity and had the highest turnover was SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM), with shares amounting to Rs. 36.64 crores being traded. The closing market price for SHIVM shares stood at Rs. 585 per share.

    Furthermore, seven stocks experienced a gain of 10% each and reached the positive circuit for the day, indicating a significant increase in their market value. On the other hand, Shuvam Power Limited (SPL) recorded the highest loss of 5.58% during today’s trading.

    During the day, a total of 264 scrips were traded through 32,579 transactions. The overall shares exchanged amounted to 4,422,186, with a total turnover value of Rs. 1.47 Arba. This turnover figure surpassed the previous trading day’s turnover of Rs. 85.76 Crores.

    Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) recorded the highest turnover of Rs. 8.63 crores, concluding the trading session at a market price of Rs. 779.20 per share. The shares of SHIVM were the most actively traded during the day.

    Two scrips experienced the highest gain of 10% each, triggering the positive circuit limit for the day. Conversely, NIBL Growth Fund (NIBLGF) suffered the highest decline of 3.14% during the trading session.

    All sector indices closed in the green zone, with the “Hotels and Tourism” sector displaying the highest growth of 3.75%. On the other hand, the “Others” sector recorded the least growth of 0.90% on the trading day.
