    Prabhu Capital Limited (PRABHU) has convened its 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the 19th of Ashwin, 2080. The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Aranya Boutique Hotel and Restaurant, located on Nagpokhari Marga in Kathmandu, and is set to commence at 1:00 PM on that day.

    One of the primary items on the AGM’s agenda is the endorsement of dividends. The company’s board has proposed the distribution of cash dividends, amounting to 6.3158% inclusive of tax, derived from the profits of the fiscal year 2079/80.

    Additionally, the AGM will address several other important matters, including the approval of financial reports for the fiscal year 2079/80, the endorsement of the auditor’s report containing Profit and Loss statements, Balance Sheet, Financial reports, and cash flow reports for the same fiscal year. The meeting will also consider the appointment of auditors and the determination of their remuneration for the fiscal year 2080/81.

    Furthermore, there will be discussions and decisions regarding the appointment of new Directors to the company’s board.     Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL) has recently listed 1,32,000 units of bonus shares on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). During their 9th Annual General Meeting held on the 22nd of Ashad, 2080, the company approved a 15% dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79. This dividend will be distributed based on the company’s paid-up capital of Rs. 13.20 Crores. Additionally, the board of directors also proposed issuing 10% bonus shares amounting to Rs. 1.32 crores and a 5% cash dividend totaling Rs. 66 lakhs.

    At present, the Last Traded Price (LTP) of SLBSL stands at Rs. 864.90.

Currently, the company’s closing price is Rs. 401.10.

    Prabhu Life Insurance Limited (PLI) has proposed a dividend of 10.526% for the fiscal year 2077/78. This is the first dividend the company has proposed since being listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).

    The company’s board of directors, at its 140th meeting held on Baisakh 25, has decided to distribute a dividend consisting of 10% bonus shares and 0.526% cash dividend (including tax). PLI has a paid-up capital of Rs. 2 Arba, making the bonus shares worth Rs. 20 crores and the cash dividend worth Rs. 1.05 crores.

    However, it’s important to note that this dividend is subject to approval by the Nepal Insurance Authority and endorsement at the upcoming AGM.

    As of writing, the company’s closing price on the last trading day stands at Rs. 390.

    Nepal Investment Mega Bank has decided to issue debentures worth Rs. 4 arba, and they have chosen Prabhu Capital as the issue manager for this process. The debentures will be offered to the general public as well as institutional investors. The duration of the debenture is for ten years and it will provide a 10% interest rate annually.

    The bank’s Senior Deputy CEO, Mr. Mahesh Sharma Dhakal, and CEO of Prabhu Capital, Mr. Asish Gauchan, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at a program held for this purpose. The appointment of Prabhu Capital as the issue manager and the signing of the MoU have been communicated to the public via a media statement.
