The Securities Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) has given its approval for the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Vision Lumbini Urja Company Limited. This IPO is scheduled for Bhadra 05, 2080. In this offering, the company plans to release 3,825,000 equity shares, each with a nominal value of NPR 100. The total value of the IPO is set at Rs. 38.25 Crore, which represents 20% of the company’s existing issued capital. Following the allotment of shares through the IPO, the company’s total paid-up capital will increase to Rs. 1.91 Arba from the current Rs. 1.53 Arba. Muktinath Capital Limited has been appointed as the manager overseeing the IPO process, and the application for this IPO was originally submitted on Falgun 28, 2079.
Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited (LBBL) has commenced the issuance of “11% LBBL Debenture 2089” to the general public and institutions. The debenture, which has a maturity period of 10 years and offers a coupon rate of 11%, will be available for application starting from today until the 19th of Jestha, 2080. In the event that the issue is not fully subscribed, the deadline may be extended until Jestha 30, 2080.
A total of 10,00,000 units of the debenture will be issued at a par value of Rs. 1000 per unit. Among the total units, 60% (6,00,000 units) will be subscribed through private placement, while the remaining 4,00,000 units worth Rs. 40 crores will be open for public issue. Additionally, 5% of the public issue is allocated for mutual funds. The issuance aims to raise a total of Rs. 1 Arba.
Nabil Investment Banking Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for this process. Investors have the opportunity to apply for a minimum of 25 units and a maximum of 1,00,000 units.

Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited (SALICO) has listed 26,226,382 shares on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) following a successful merger between Lumbini General Insurance Limited (LGIL) and Sagarmatha Insurance Company Limited (SIC).
The merger agreement between SIC and LGIL was signed on 30 Ashad, 2079. The swap ratio for the merger was set at 100:80, resulting in a 20% decrease in the number of LGIL shareholders. After the merger, the total listed shares of SIC and LGIL combined amounted to 26,226,382 units.
Following the successful merger, SIC and LGIL began conducting joint operations under the name Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited (SALICO) starting from Falgun 29, 2079. Consequently, the listed shares will be traded under the symbol “SALICO.”
The opening price range for the initial transactions has been set at Rs. 599.12.
The NEPSE has listed 16,53,699.96 unit bonus shares of Sagarmatha Insurance Company Limited (SIC).
On 11th Falgun, the firm held its 26th AGM and approved a 13.0579% dividend for fiscal year 2078/79. The board of directors resolved to distribute 12.40% bonus shares and 0.6526% cash dividend on Rs. 1.33 Arba paid-up capital. NEPSE now lists the same bonus shares.
