    AHPC Successfully Allots 1:1 Right Shares: Unclaimed Shares to be Auctioned Soon


    Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) recently completed the allotment of its right shares at a 1:1 ratio on the 27th of Chaitra, 2080. Following the allotment process, shares were distributed to eligible applicants, while those who were not allotted shares will receive their refunds starting from the 30th of Chaitra, 2080.

    During the issuance period, which ran from the 17th of Falgun to the 7th of Chaitra, 2080, a total of 1,86,79,626 units of right shares were made available. The company declared the book closure date for its rights offering on Magh 15, ensuring that investors who held shares before this date were eligible to apply for the additional shares.

    Out of the total issuance, 1,66,87,492 shares were allotted to 33,714 valid applicants. However, there were 19,92,134 (10.66%) shares that remained unclaimed by eligible investors. These unclaimed shares will soon be auctioned off to the general public and institutions.

    Overall, the completion of the right shares allotment signifies an important step for AHPC in its efforts to raise capital and further its hydropower development initiatives.

    Sunrise Bank Limited (SRBL) has announced that the existing promoters of the bank will be auctioning 122,045 units of shares to the general public and institutions starting from today, which is the 18th of Jestha, 2080. Initially, the founder shareholders had issued a notice on the 7th of Baisakh, informing about the auction of these 122,045 units of promoter shares. However, since no applications were received during that period, the shareholders have decided to re-publish the notice and open the auction to the general public once again.

    Interested individuals, companies, and institutions are eligible to participate in the auction, and they have a period of 7 days from the date of this notice’s publication, which is the 18th of Jestha, to submit their bids. The minimum bid rate set for the auction is Rs. 125. Shareholders who wish to participate must submit their bids at the central office of the bank, located in Gairidhara, Kathmandu.

    Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited (LBBL) has commenced the issuance of “11% LBBL Debenture 2089” to the general public and institutions. The debenture, which has a maturity period of 10 years and offers a coupon rate of 11%, will be available for application starting from today until the 19th of Jestha, 2080. In the event that the issue is not fully subscribed, the deadline may be extended until Jestha 30, 2080.

    A total of 10,00,000 units of the debenture will be issued at a par value of Rs. 1000 per unit. Among the total units, 60% (6,00,000 units) will be subscribed through private placement, while the remaining 4,00,000 units worth Rs. 40 crores will be open for public issue. Additionally, 5% of the public issue is allocated for mutual funds. The issuance aims to raise a total of Rs. 1 Arba.

    Nabil Investment Banking Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for this process. Investors have the opportunity to apply for a minimum of 25 units and a maximum of 1,00,000 units.

    Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited (LBBL) has announced its plan to issue 10,00,000 units of “11% LBBL Debenture 2089” to the general public and institutions. The debenture has a maturity period of 10 years and offers an 11% coupon rate. The application period for the debenture will be open from 16th Jestha to 19th Jestha, 2080, with a possible extension to Jestha 30, 2080, if the issue is not fully subscribed.

    The debenture will be issued at a par value of Rs. 1000 per unit, totaling 10 lakh units. Of these, 60% (6 lakh units) will be subscribed through private placement, while the remaining 4 lakh units worth Rs. 40 Crores will be available for the public to apply, with 5% allocated for mutual funds. The issuance aims to raise a total of Rs. 1 Arba.

    Nabil Investment Banking Limited will act as the issue manager for this debenture issuance. Interested investors can apply for a minimum of 25 units and a maximum of 1,00,000 units.

    NMB Bank Limited (NMB) is releasing 40,00,000 units of “10.75% NMB Debenture 2089/90″ to the general public and institutions today, Chaitra 21st.

     

    The debenture, which has a maturity period of 10 years and a coupon rate of 10.75%, is available for application from today to the 24th Chaitra, 2079. 
    If the issue is not fully subscribed, the deadline can be pushed back to Baisakh 5, 2080.

    A total of 9,00,000 promoter shares will be auctioned off. Individual investors, businesses, and institutions can all bid in an auction. The minimum bid is Rs. 130. The promoters’ shares have a minimum bid quantity of 1000 units.     The deadline for the sale of 2,96,000 units of promoter share has been extended till Chaitra 6, 2079, according to Kumari Bank Limited (KBL).

    KBL’s existing promoters have started auctioning off their 2,96,000 unit promoter stake. The auction began on the 16th of Falgun and was scheduled to end tomorrow, on the 30th of Falgun, 2079. Nevertheless, because the auction organizer received insufficient applications, the sale has been extended until Chaitra 6.

    Individual investors, businesses, and institutions can all bid in an auction. The minimum bid is Rs. 119. The promoters’ shares have a minimum bid quantity of 10,000 units. Although bidders may bid for the full issue, they must follow the Nepal Rastra Bank’s guideline not to bid more than once.

    Sabaiko Laghubitta held its 6th AGM on Falgun 26, 2079, led by company chair Mr. Narayan Prasad Joshi.

    According to the media statement, the AGM decided to approve 18% bonus shares and 0.95% cash dividends to its shareholders, as well as authorize the board to conduct any merger/acquisition work with suitable institutions.

    The ultimate merger procedure has been completed between Sana Kisan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SKBBL) and RMDC Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (RMDC). On Bhadra 31, 2079, the firms signed a merger agreement.

    Similarly, the share exchange ratio between Sana Kisan and RMDC has been determined to be 1:0.87. Investors who now own 100 shares of RMDC Microfinance will get 87 shares of the amalgamated firm.

    Similarly, it has been decided to nominate 2-2 persons from each institution’s promoter group, 1-1 person from the general group, and 1 person as an expert director, in accordance with the terms of the Bank and Financial Institutions Act of 2073.
