So today, I tried opening a broker account near my house at a broker’s office. I submit the form and everything and I get a call from them saying that my DEMAT account is already mapped to another broker and they cannot proceed to link it with theirs.
I checked the entire DEMAT account’s transaction history, and there are no sell/buy transactions in the secondary market.
However, there were people who used to apply shares using my nagarikta a long-long time ago.
Anyways, I want to unlink my DEMAT and link it with this new broker. How to find out the broker with whom my Demat account is mapped to?
