In today’s closing session, the NEPSE index rose 68.47 points from the previous day’s closing session to 2,681.10. Yesterday, the index had increased by 41.84 points.
During the period under review, a total of 8,189,890 shares were traded, resulting in a turnover amount of Rs. 4.5 Arba. This represents an increase above the previous day’s turnover of Rs. 2.996 Arba. A total of 55,385 transactions took place involving 227 scrips.
Citizens Bank International Limited (CZBIL) had the largest turnover with Rs. 23.04 crores, and the stock closed at Rs. 398 per share, the highest in the market. Its stock was also the most actively traded.
Today, a total of 13 scrips have technically crossed the 10 percent positive circuit breaker, with Ridi Hydropower Development Company Limited (RHPC) suffering the greatest loss of 2.16 percent.
All sectors ended the day in the green, with the Finance sector gaining the most, 6.59 percent on the overall market.
