Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) has scheduled its 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 12th Kartik, 2081. The meeting will take place at The Everest Hotel in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu, starting at 4:30 AM.
The AGM will cover several important agendas, including:
Endorsing the auditor’s report along with the profit and loss statements, financial reports, and cash flow statements for the fiscal year 2080/81.
Approving the appointment of the auditor and determining their remuneration for the fiscal year 2081/82.
Approving a massive 1714% cash dividend, as recommended by the board of directors.
Endorsing financial contributions to various social and community projects under the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, along with any other matters raised with the Chairman’s permission.
The company has also announced that the book closure period for dividend eligibility is from 28th Ashwin to 12th Kartik. Only shareholders holding shares before the book closure date will be eligible for the dividend payout.
As of now, Unilever Nepal’s last traded price (LTP) is Rs. 52,700 per share. This AGM is expected to finalize key decisions that will impact both shareholders and the company’s social initiatives.
