Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GLBSL) has listed 39,000 Units Bonus Shares on NEPSE.
The board of directors decided to distribute the dividend from the paid-up capital of Rs. 9.75 crores at its 117th meeting on Mangsir 27. The company proposed and distributed a 4% bonus share and a 0.210526% cash dividend. As a result, the bonus shares are worth Rs. 39 lakhs, and the cash dividend is slightly more than Rs. 2.05 lakhs. NEPSE has listed the same bonus dividend.
Mr. Deepak Khanal, chair of Deprosc Laghubitta, presided over the company’s 21st AGM.
For the previous fiscal year, the AGM approved 10% bonus shares and 11.052632% cash dividends for its shareholders. According to the media statement, the company’s paid-up capital will increase to Rs 1.52 arba after the bonus shares.
The NEPSE index closed at 1,933.31 today, down 5.32 points from the previous trading day’s close. This is a 0.27% decrease. Yesterday, the index fell 14.44 points.
Today, the index opened at 1,938.62 and closed at 1,919.93. In contrast, it reached a high of 1,946.77 before settling at 1,933.31.
Through 26,375 transactions, 258 scrips changed hands. A total of 3,402,267 shares were exchanged for a total of Rs. 1.14 Arba in turnover. This is less than the previous day’s turnover of Rs. 1.202 Arba.
For the fiscal year 2078/79, Asian Life Insurance Company Limited (ALICL) has proposed a dividend of 8.947% worth Rs. 26.01 Crores.
The board of directors decided today (Falgun 30) to distribute 8.50% bonus shares and a 0.447% cash dividend (for tax purposes). The value of the bonus shares is Rs. 24.71 crores, and the cash dividend is slightly more than Rs. 1.30 crores. ALICL’s current paid-up capital is Rs. 2.90 Arba.
The NEPSE index closed at 1,938.62 today, down 14.44 points from the previous trading day’s close. This represents a 0.74% decrease. Yesterday, the index rose 1.85 points.
The index opened today at 1,953.96 and reached an intraday high of 1,956.37. In contrast, it dropped as low as 1,926.57 before closing at 1,938.62.
For the first eight months of the current fiscal year 2079/80, the government’s budget deficit exceeded Rs. 1.56 Kharba. By the end of Falgun, the government had spent 7.79 Kharba of its budget, but had only collected 6.22 Kharba in total revenue.
Meanwhile, only 22.15% of capital expenditure (CAPEX) is used until the end of Falgun’s fiscal year 2079/80.
The government’s capital expenditure is the money spent on the development of physical assets. In Nepal, the capital budget is funded by balancing domestic revenue after the recurrent budget, grants, and loans have been met. According to the Financial Comptroller General Office, only Rs. 84.25 Arba of the capital budget has been spent out of the targeted budget of Rs. 3.80 Kharba.

The deadline for the sale of 2,96,000 units of promoter share has been extended till Chaitra 6, 2079, according to Kumari Bank Limited (KBL).

The board of directors suggested a 15% dividend for fiscal year 2078/79 during its 410th meeting on Mangsir 20. 7.5% bonus shares and 7.5% cash dividends of Rs. 50.63 crores each were proposed and delivered to shareholders. The current paid-up capital of the firm is Rs. 6.75 Arba. NEPSE now lists the same bonus shares.
The company’s LTP is Rs. 475.30 as of this writing.

Sabaiko Laghubitta held its 6th AGM on Falgun 26, 2079, led by company chair Mr. Narayan Prasad Joshi.
