    Nepal Hydro Developer Limited (NHDL) has listed 1,59,965 unit bonus shares on the NEPSE.

    On Poush 29, the business had its 16th AGM for fiscal year 2078/79 and approved a 5.02632% dividend. The board of directors of the firm suggested a 5.02632% dividend from the paid-up capital of Rs. 31,99,30,000 at its meeting on the 11th of Mangsir 2079. There was a proposal for 5% bonus shares worth Rs. 1.59 crores and a 0.02632% cash dividend (including tax) of Rs. 8.41 lakhs. NEPSE now lists the same bonus shares.

    Yesterday, NHDL closed at Rs. 384.

    Similarly, Lumbini General Insurance Company Limited (LGIL) has 9,17,644.50 unit bonus shares listed on NEPSE.

    On 11th Falgun, the business had its 18th AGM and approved a 6.99% bonus share worth Rs. 9.17 crore and a 0.3679% cash dividend worth Rs. 48.29 crore on a paid-up capital of Rs. 1.31 Arba for the fiscal year 2078/79.

    On Baisakh 10, 2080, the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) authorized the “11% LBBL Debenture 2089”.

    Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited (LBBL) plans to issue 10 lakh unit debentures at Rs 1000 per unit. For a period of ten years, the bank will give an interest rate of 11% on the debenture.

    Four hundred thousand units will be made available to the general public out of the total number of units available.

    According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association’s official website, fine gold is now trading for Rs. 109,300 per tola. Yesterday, the cost remained unchanged at Rs. 110,200 per tola. Meanwhile, Tejabi gold is currently trading for Rs. 108,800. In contrast, the cost was kept at Rs. 109,650 per tola yesterday.

    Through 31,415 transactions, 265 scrips changed hands. A total of 2,734,307 shares were traded, totaling Rs. 82.85 crores in turnover. This is less than the previous day’s turnover of Rs. 98.33 Crores.

    Himalayan Stock Exchange” has applied for a license to the Nepal Securities Board for a new stock exchange. The application has been filed by Himalayan Stock Exchange, which has been established with the participation of prominent business families in Nepal, including Shankar Group, along with the largest industrial houses in Nepal such as Shekhar Golchha of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, former presidents of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Pashupati Murarka, Rajendra Khetan of Khetan Group, Satish Lal Mor of Lucky Group, Vivek Dugar of Dugar Group, Shourabh Jyoti of Jyoti Group and other major traders and business houses. This is the first application for a stock exchange license by Himalayan Stock Exchange.

    The application has been filed by Himalayan Stock Exchange, along with investment from Rohit Gupta, Ashish Shrestha, Juni Gurung, and Deepak Bhatta.

    The deadline for applying for a license for the commodity exchange (Commodity Exchange) along with the stock exchange is until 10th Baisakh, 2079 (April 22, 2023). So far, only one application has been submitted under the name of Himalayan Stock Exchange.

    Similarly, there has been no application filed until Friday for the commodity exchange. The applications for the stock and commodity exchanges are separate.

    Dolti Power Company Limited offered 12,71,861 units worth Rs 12.71 crores to the general public as an Initial Public Offering (IPO) (Chaitra 28, 2079- Baisakh 3, 2080).According to the allocation module, a total of 1,27,186 candidates were assigned 10 units each by lottery, with one lucky applicant receiving an additional unit, while the rest 11,41,760 applicants were returned with empty hands.

    The Securities Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) has authorized Ghorahi Cement Industry Limited’s proposed initial public offering (IPO) on Baisakh 06, 2080.

    The corporation will now distribute 7,943,801 unit shares. A total of 3,97,190 unit shares are reserved for project-affected locals, while the remaining 75,46,611 unit shares are designated for the general public. The IPO would be issued by the corporation by adding a premium of Rs 300 to the face value of Rs 100, for a total of Rs 400 for project-affected people. Similarly, shares for the general public will be issued at Rs 435 after a premium of Rs 345 is added to the face value.
