    NEPSE has listed 39,719,006 units of IPO shares from Ghorahi Cement Industry Limited, which include shares held by promoters, those given to the public, and locals affected by the project. These shares have an initial price range of Rs. 226.61 to Rs. 679.83 for the first trade. If the company and NEPSE sign an agreement, the IPO shares will be available for secondary market trading the following day.

    Among the total shares worth Rs. 3.97 Arba, 69,11,670 units were offered to the general public during the Initial Public Offering held from Ashad 22-25, 2080.

    The NMB Saral Bachat Fund – E (NMBSBF) recently released its NAV report. This mutual fund operates as an open-ended fund with no maturity period, allowing the fund manager to increase its size as needed. As of Ashad, the fund size has grown to Rs. 1.24 Arba from Rs. 1.17 Arba in the previous month. The Net Asset Value (NAV) in Ashad is Rs. 9.52, showing an increase from Rs. 9.25 in the previous month. The fund’s investments include Rs. 80.74 crore in listed shares, Rs. 63.58 lakhs in public issues, and Rs. 16.05 crore in fixed deposits. Moreover, the fund has Rs. 14.22 crores in the bank and holds bond/debentures worth Rs. 6.76 crores.

    Three Star Hydropower Limited has recently released an offer letter announcing its Initial Public Offering (IPO) to the general public. The company plans to issue 613,162 unit shares with a face value of Rs 100 each, starting from the 5th of Ashad, 2080. The objective is to raise Rs 6.13 crore through this IPO. The early closing date for the issue is set for the 8th of Ashad, with a possibility of extension until the 19th of Ashad, 2080 if the issue is not fully subscribed.

    Among the total 738,750 units, 10% (73,875 units) have already been issued and allocated to Nepalese citizens working abroad, 5% (36,938 units) have been reserved for mutual funds, and 2% (14,775 units) have been set aside for the employees of the company. The remaining 613,162 units are available for the general public. Following the IPO issuance, the paid-up capital of Three Star Hydropower Limited will reach Rs. 49.25 Crores.

    Previously, the company had issued 492,500 unit shares worth Rs. 4.92 crores to project-affected locals of Khotang District and 73,875 unit shares to Nepalese citizens working abroad. Overall, promoter shareholders hold 75% of the company’s shares.

    Himalayan Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO issuance. Interested individuals can submit applications for a minimum of 10 units and a maximum of 50,000 units.

    ICRA Nepal has assigned an issuer rating of [ICRANP-IR] B- (pronounced ICRA NP issuer rating B minus) to Three Star Hydropower Limited. This rating suggests a high risk of default regarding the timely servicing of financial obligations for issuers in this category.

    Three Star Hydropower Limited is closing the initial public offering (IPO) for Nepalese citizens working abroad today, i.e., 25th Baisakh, 2080, and has extended the deadline for project-affected locals to apply for the IPO until 9th Jestha. The IPO issue was opened on 11th Baisakh, 2080. The company’s issued capital is Rs. 49.25 Crores, of which 10% has been allocated to project-affected locals of Khotang District, while 15% will be issued later for the general public. Of this public issue, 10% has been allocated for Nepalese citizens working abroad, and the issue for this segment will close today.

    The minimum application quantity for project-affected locals is ten units, while the maximum quantity is 492,500 units. For Nepalese citizens working abroad, the minimum application quantity is ten units, and the maximum quantity is 73,875 units. The IPO issue manager is Himalayan Capital Limited. After this IPO, the promoter-public share ratio will be 75:25.

    As per CDSC, Nepalese citizens working abroad have submitted 20,646 applications for a total of 512,280 units. So far, the issue has been oversubscribed by 6.93 times.

The founders of the company are Kumar Kharel, Mohan Karki, and Madhav Mainali, who named the company after themselves and then named it Three Star Hydro. Later, Uddhav Raj Shivakotee ‘Kangal’, Pradeep K Agrawal, Ananda P Manandhar, Zen Lama, and Ratna Bdr Newar joined the founders.     The initial public offering (IPO) for locals and Nepalese citizens working abroad will take place from the 11th to the 25th of Baisakh, 2080. It should be noted that if the problem is not subscribed to by the early closing date for Khotang District residents, it may be prolonged until the 9th Jestha. The issue, however, will be prolonged beyond the early deadline for Nepalese people working abroad.

    Through 23,388 transactions, 269 scrips changed hands. A total of 2,870,819 shares were traded, totaling Rs. 92.06 crores in turnover. This exceeds the previous trading day’s turnover of Rs. 81.6 Crores.

    The Securities Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) has approved Three Star Hydropower Limited’s proposed initial public offering (IPO) on Chaitra 17.

    The company will now issue 1,231,250 equity shares with NPR 100 par value each. The issue is worth Rs. 12.31 crore. This is equivalent to 25% of the company’s issued capital. After the IPO, the company’s total paid-up capital would be Rs 49.25 crores.

    Prime Life Insurance Company Limited (PLIC) has listed 36,13,500.25 Units Bonus Shares on NEPSE.

    For the fiscal year 2077/78, the board of directors proposed bonus shares worth Rs. 36,13,500.25 and a cash dividend worth Rs. 1,90,18,422 from the paid-up capital of Rs. 2.77 Arba at its 162nd meeting. NEPSE now lists the same bonus shares.

    A final merger agreement has also been completed between three life insurance companies, Union Life Insurance Co Ltd (ULI), Gurans Life Insurance Co Ltd (GLICL), and Prime Life Insurance Co Ltd (PLIC). The merger agreement was signed by the companies in order to strengthen the company’s capital base at a swap ratio of 1:1:1.
