    Eastern Sahara Company Limited has chosen Global IME Capital Limited as the issue manager for its upcoming IPO of 30,00,000 units at NPR 100 each. The agreement was signed on Falgun 1, 2080, at Global IME Capital Limited’s office in Naxal, Kathmandu.

    The company, established as a public company in 2079, is based in Birtamode Municipality, Jhapa, with a liaison office in Baneshwor Height, Kathmandu. It specializes in micro-capital operations, with a focus on Green Financing and investments in hydropower, agriculture tourism, automobiles, and solar energy projects. Eastern Sahara has attracted investments from notable figures in banking, cooperatives, microfinance, and hydropower sectors, with the aim of contributing to the nation’s economic growth through Green Financing.

    In the upcoming rights issue, the hydropower company plans to issue 10,542,604 (1:1) units of right shares, equal to 100% of its existing shares, to its current shareholders. Currently, the company’s paid-up capital stands at Rs. 1.05 Arba, and the proposed right share issuance aims to significantly boost the financial structure, bringing the paid-up capital to Rs. 2.11 Arba after the adjustment of 1.05 crores units.

    The company is set to issue 50% right shares valued at Rs. 77.44 Crores, involving the issuance of 7,744,506 (1:0.50) units of right shares to its existing shareholders. With the current paid-up capital standing at Rs. 1.54 Arba, the proposed right share, totaling 77.44 lakhs units, will elevate the company’s paid-up capital to Rs. 2.32 Arba.

    Muktinath Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for this process, overseeing the administration and execution of the right share issuance.

    As of the latest information, RIDI is currently trading at an Last Traded Price (LTP) of Rs. 292.00.

    The focus of Mount Everest Power Development Limited is on the ongoing construction of the Dudhkunda Khola Hydroelectricity Project, boasting a 12 Mega Watt capacity. This project utilizes water from the Dudhkunda River and is situated in the Solukhumbu district. Remarkably, more than 80 percent of the construction work for this hydroelectric project has already been completed.

    Under the terms of the agreement, NIMB Ace Capital Limited will provide Securities Issuance and Sales Manager services. This role involves overseeing all operations related to the public issue and management of ordinary shares for Mount Everest Power Development Limited. The collaboration aims to facilitate the allocation of shares to local residents and the broader public, contributing to the development and progress of the Dudhkunda Khola Hydroelectricity Project.
