Of this, 20%, equivalent to 13,75,000 unit shares worth Rs. 13.75 Crores, will be allocated for the general public. Within this public issue, 10% of the shares, totaling 1,37,500 units, have been earmarked for Nepalese citizens working abroad, and the subscription for this segment will close today.

    Out of the 13,75,000 units, 68,750 units (5% of the total) are reserved for mutual funds, and 27,500 units (2% of the total) are designated for the company’s employees. The remaining 11,41,250 units are available for the general public. Himalayan Capital is appointed as the issue manager for the IPO, with a minimum application quantity of 10 units and a maximum of 50,000 units.

    As per the Central Depository and Clearing Company (CDSC), substantial interest has been seen in the IPO, with 32,605 applicants applying for a total of 7,86,220 units. Consequently, the issue has already been oversubscribed by 5.71 times as of 10 AM today.

    ICRA Nepal has reaffirmed the issuer rating of [ICRANP-IR] BB- to Nepal Warehousing Company Limited. This rating suggests a moderate risk of default regarding the timely servicing of financial obligations for the company.

    Established under the Company Act, 2063 of Nepal, Nepal Warehousing Company aims to address the warehousing needs of farmers, traders, millers, and businessmen involved in grain trade for commercial and industrial purposes. The company seeks to combat post-harvest losses, maintain product quality, and address the challenge of preserving grains in a conducive environment. To achieve this, the company has installed high-quality silos with a capacity of 55,000 MT at three different locations in provinces 1, 2, and Lumbini province.

This marks a slight decline from the previous day’s rate, which was Rs. 1,15,900 per tola. In parallel, Tejabi gold is now being traded at Rs. 1,14,850, representing a decrease from yesterday when it was priced at Rs. 115,350 per tola.

    In contrast to the fluctuations in the gold market, the price of silver has remained stable at Rs. 1,415 per tola in Nepal.

    On the global scale, the current price of gold is at USD $1,983.30, while silver is trading at $23.12 per ounce.

    Himalayan Reinsurance Limited has announced its plans to issue an Initial Public Offering (IPO) aimed at Nepalese citizens working abroad. The company intends to offer 30,00,000 unit shares, and the subscription period will be open from the 21st Kartik, concluding on the 5th Mangsir in the year 2080.

    The total issued capital of the company stands at Rs. 10 Arba, out of which 30%, equivalent to 3,00,00,000 unit shares, will be made available to the public, including Nepalese citizens working abroad and the general public. Of this total issuance, 10% or 30,00,000 unit shares are specifically reserved for Nepalese citizens working abroad, with their subscription period commencing on the 21st Kartik.

    Additionally, 2% of the offered shares, totaling 600,000 units, have been set aside for the company’s employees, while 5% or 15,00,000 units have been allocated for mutual funds. The remaining 2,49,00,000 units will be made accessible to the general public at a later date.

    The shares are set to be issued at a price of Rs. 206 per share, which includes a premium of Rs. 106 per share on top of the Rs. 100 face value. This IPO offering is expected to raise Rs. 61.8 crores for the company.

    NMB Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for this IPO. Investors can apply for a minimum of 10 units and have the opportunity to subscribe to a maximum of 300,000 units.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now valued at Rs. 1,12,000 per tola, while tejabi gold is priced at Rs. 111,450. In comparison, on Wednesday, fine gold was at Rs. 1,12,700 per tola, and tejabi gold was at Rs. 1,12,150.

    Similarly, the price of silver has also dropped today, decreasing by 35 rupees. The current price of silver stands at Rs. 1,410 per tola. In contrast, Wednesday’s silver price was Rs. 1,445 per tola.
