This week’s NEPSE index closed at 1,908.55, down 6.59 points (0.34%). Last week, the index closed at 1,915.14, up 0.94% from the previous week.
This week, the index reached a high of 1,936.43 and a low of 1.864.99, resulting in 71.44 points of volatility. In the previous week, the index experienced volatility of 55.81 points.
Prudential Insurance had its 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Chaitra 16, 2079, under the chairmanship of Mr. Vishal Agrawal.

Insurance companies are competing with one another to collect more premiums. Out of its 1.4 crore total active insurance policies, life insurance companies collected a total premium of Rs. 93.75 Arba during the fiscal year 2079/80.
According to a report published by the Nepal Insurance Authority, Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited collected Rs. 24.37 Arba on its own, with 978,626 active insurance policies as of Falgun, 2079.

The NEPSE index closed at 1,919.42 today, up 1.02 points from the previous trading day’s close. This is a 0.05% increase. Yesterday, the index rose 12.10 points.
Today, the index opened at 1,920.09 and closed at 1,901.62. In contrast, it reached a high of 1,922.04 before closing at 1,919.42.
Through 25,413 transactions, 258 scrips changed hands. A total of 2,539,048 shares were traded, totaling Rs. 81.62 crores in turnover. This is less than the previous day’s turnover of Rs. 1.443 Arba.
