    Prime Life Insurance Company Limited (PLIC) has listed 36,13,500.25 Units Bonus Shares on NEPSE.

    For the fiscal year 2077/78, the board of directors proposed bonus shares worth Rs. 36,13,500.25 and a cash dividend worth Rs. 1,90,18,422 from the paid-up capital of Rs. 2.77 Arba at its 162nd meeting. NEPSE now lists the same bonus shares.

    A final merger agreement has also been completed between three life insurance companies, Union Life Insurance Co Ltd (ULI), Gurans Life Insurance Co Ltd (GLICL), and Prime Life Insurance Co Ltd (PLIC). The merger agreement was signed by the companies in order to strengthen the company’s capital base at a swap ratio of 1:1:1.

    The company’s issued capital is Rs. 54.25 crores, of which 10%, or 5,42,583 unit shares worth Rs. 5.42 crores, have been allocated to project-affected Sankhuwasabha District residents. Meanwhile, 20% of the company’s issued capital, or 10,85,167 unit shares, will be made available to the general public later.     The company’s issued capital is Rs. 6.23 crores, of which 32.625%, or 203,380 unit shares worth Rs. 2.03 crores, have been set aside for the general public. Out of the total 203,380 units, 10%, or 20,388 units, were set aside for Nepalese citizens working abroad, while 1.5326%, or 3,117 units, were set aside for company employees, and 5%, or 10,170 units, were set aside for mutual funds. The remaining 169,755 units were made available to the general public.

    The Balephi Hydropower Limited (BHL) board of directors decided to submit a proposal for approval at the following annual general meeting of the company for the issuance of rights shares in the ratio of 1 equal to 0.5 from the current paid-up capital of Rs. 1.827 Arba. This decision was made at the board’s meeting on Falgun 12. Thus, the company’s enlarged paid-up capital following the right issuance at 50% will be Rs. 2.74 Arba.

    6.60 lakh units were subscribed via private placement from the total issue of 11 lakh units, while the remaining 4.40 lakh units worth Rs. 44 crores were open for public issue, 5% of which was also allocated to mutual funds.

    The “10.50% BOK Debenture 2086” has a maturity period of 7 years and will provide an annual return of 10.50% during that time.
