    “LBB L’s Q4 Net Profit Dips, Impairment Charges Soar”


     

    Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited (LBBL) has released its fourth-quarter report for the recently ended financial year, showing a slight decrease in net profit by 3.88 percent compared to the same period in the previous year. In Q4 of FY 079-80, the company made a profit of Rs. 61.24 crores.

    The most significant change in the report is the substantial increase in impairment charges for the company during the last quarter of FY 079-80, reaching Rs. 40.31 crores. This is in contrast to the Rs. 3.40 crores impairment charges incurred by the bank during the same quarter of FY 078-079.

    Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited Opens 11% Debenture 2089 Issuance to General Public and Institutions


    Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited (LBBL) has commenced the issuance of “11% LBBL Debenture 2089” to the general public and institutions. The debenture, which has a maturity period of 10 years and offers a coupon rate of 11%, will be available for application starting from today until the 19th of Jestha, 2080. In the event that the issue is not fully subscribed, the deadline may be extended until Jestha 30, 2080.

    A total of 10,00,000 units of the debenture will be issued at a par value of Rs. 1000 per unit. Among the total units, 60% (6,00,000 units) will be subscribed through private placement, while the remaining 4,00,000 units worth Rs. 40 crores will be open for public issue. Additionally, 5% of the public issue is allocated for mutual funds. The issuance aims to raise a total of Rs. 1 Arba.

    Nabil Investment Banking Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for this process. Investors have the opportunity to apply for a minimum of 25 units and a maximum of 1,00,000 units.

    Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited (LBBL) has announced its plan to issue 10,00,000 units of “11% LBBL Debenture 2089” to the general public and institutions. The debenture has a maturity period of 10 years and offers an 11% coupon rate. The application period for the debenture will be open from 16th Jestha to 19th Jestha, 2080, with a possible extension to Jestha 30, 2080, if the issue is not fully subscribed.

    The debenture will be issued at a par value of Rs. 1000 per unit, totaling 10 lakh units. Of these, 60% (6 lakh units) will be subscribed through private placement, while the remaining 4 lakh units worth Rs. 40 Crores will be available for the public to apply, with 5% allocated for mutual funds. The issuance aims to raise a total of Rs. 1 Arba.

    Nabil Investment Banking Limited will act as the issue manager for this debenture issuance. Interested investors can apply for a minimum of 25 units and a maximum of 1,00,000 units.

    SEBON Approves 11% LBBL Debenture 2089; Bank Will Soon Issue 10 Lakh Unit Debentures


     

    On Baisakh 10, 2080, the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) authorized the “11% LBBL Debenture 2089”.

    Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited (LBBL) plans to issue 10 lakh unit debentures at Rs 1000 per unit. For a period of ten years, the bank will give an interest rate of 11% on the debenture.

    Four hundred thousand units will be made available to the general public out of the total number of units available.

    According to the Nepal Stock Exchange, the final merger agreement between Nerude Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NLBBL) and Mirmire Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MMFDB) has been completed and approved (MEPSE).

    Poush 11, where the chairman of both organizations signed a memorandum of understanding for merger, the companies had signed a memorandum of understanding for merger.

    Swarojgar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBBL) has announced the book closure date for its 23.1579% dividend worth Rs. 11.90 crores for fiscal year 2078/79 and has scheduled the 14th Annual General Meeting for Chaitra 11, 2079. The meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m. that day in Nepal Pragya Pratisthan, Kamaladi, Kathmandu.

    Among the other items on the agenda, the AGM will approve a 23.1579% dividend of Rs. 11.90 crores for fiscal year 2078/79. On Poush 27, the board of directors decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 51.40 crores. There is a proposal for 22% bonus shares worth Rs 11.31 crores and a 1.1579% cash dividend (including tax) worth Rs 59.52 lakhs.

    The Vijaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (VLBS) transaction has been halted, according to the official notice of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), since the business declared dividends to be given to shareholders without first receiving authorisation from NEPSE.

    At 6:35 PM on Magh 25, after business hours, Nepal Stock Exchange received the letter from VLBS regarding the dividend declaration for the Fiscal Year 2078/79. However, on Magh 10 itself, Vijaya Laghubitta held a meeting to suggest dividends to the shareholders.
