    “NIC Asia Capital’s Mutual Funds Show NAV Growth and Increased Profit in Ashad”


     

    NIC Asia Balanced Fund (NICBF), a 10-year close-end mutual fund scheme managed by NIC Asia Capital, has released its financial highlights for the month of Ashad. The Net Asset Value (NAV) for the period is Rs. 11.28, showing an increase from Rs. 10.96 a month ago.

    At the beginning of the scheme, the total fund size was Rs. 75.50 crores, which included seed capital from the fund sponsor. NICBF has made investments of Rs. 39.22 crores in shares of listed companies and Rs. 21.77 crores in debentures. Additionally, it has invested Rs. 50.98 lakhs in non-listed shares, while maintaining a bank balance of Rs. 22.16 crores.

    NEPSE Index Closes at 1,883.20 with 0.31% Gain


    Today, the NEPSE index closed at 1,883.20, showing a gain of 5.88 points compared to the previous trading day. This represents a 0.31% increase. Yesterday, the index had gained 32.30 points.

    The trading day began with the index opening at 1,878.68 and reaching a high of 1,903.06 during the day. However, it also experienced a low of 1,874.40 before ultimately closing at 1,883.20.

    In terms of trading activity, there were 273 scrips traded through 34,331 transactions. The total number of shares exchanged amounted to 4,828,776, with a turnover of Rs. 1.6 Arba. This turnover is higher than the previous trading day’s turnover of Rs. 1.47 Arba.

    Among the companies, Rastriya Beema Company Limited (RBCL) recorded the highest gain of 10%, followed by ANLB with a gain of 9.99%. On the other hand, Adarsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ADLB) experienced the highest loss of 6.56% during the day.
