    SEBON has finally approved Ghorahi Cement Industry’s IPO proposal.


     

    The Securities Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) has authorized Ghorahi Cement Industry Limited’s proposed initial public offering (IPO) on Baisakh 06, 2080.

    The corporation will now distribute 7,943,801 unit shares. A total of 3,97,190 unit shares are reserved for project-affected locals, while the remaining 75,46,611 unit shares are designated for the general public. The IPO would be issued by the corporation by adding a premium of Rs 300 to the face value of Rs 100, for a total of Rs 400 for project-affected people. Similarly, shares for the general public will be issued at Rs 435 after a premium of Rs 345 is added to the face value.

    Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited (NIMB) has released its third-quarter report for fiscal year 2079/80, which shows 22.96% increase in net profit. In the third quarter of fiscal year 2079/80, the bank’s profit grew to Rs 3.046 arba. Following the merger, the bank has total paid-up capital of Rs. 34.12 Arba, reserves of Rs. 23.89 Arba, retained earnings of Rs 1.27 Arba, and share premium of Rs 20.78 Crore.

    The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has issued a notice to eligible institutions requiring them to apply for a Commodities Exchange Market Operation license and a Stock Exchange Operation license within 10 days.

    To provide investors with market access, enable commodity price innovation, and provide investors with alternative investment instruments to preserve price stability, a commodities exchange market that is investor-friendly, competitive, worldwide in scope, and competent is required.

    In order to run the commodities exchange market under the rules, guidelines, and other applicable regulations, those who seek to form a limited liability company in compliance with the prevailing legislation must first get board permission.

    ICRA Ratings has assigned a long-term rating of LBBB to Hathway for long-term loans totaling Rs. 147.7 million and an A3 rating to the short-term fund totaling Rs. 852.3 million.

    On Chaitra 24, 2079, Nepal Investment Mega Bank opened its new extension counter at Belbari nagarpalika-9 Dangihat in Morang.

    According to a media statement, the latest facility was jointly inaugurated by Koshi province head of the bank Mr. Rajeev Gajurel and Nagarpalika mayor Mr. Dil Prasad Rai during a program.

    The fund size for NI 31 will be Rs. 15 crores divided into 1.5 crore units with a par value of Rs.10 per unit. On Chaitra 16, the application was submitted to SEBON. The mutual fund scheme’s fund manager is Nabil Investment Banking Limited. Nabil Bank, on the other hand, is the scheme’s Fund Sponsor.
