    The Securities Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) has added Api Power Company Limited (API) right shares to its preliminary review pipeline.

    The hydropower company intends to issue 40% right shares worth Rs. 1.65 Arba to its existing shareholders in the form of 16,533,137 (1:0.40) units of right shares. API’s current paid-up capital, after adjusting for 7.5% bonus shares, is Rs. 4.13 Arba. As a result, following the issuance of the right share in the ratio of 1:0.40, the company’s paid-up capital will be increased to Rs. 5.78 Arba.

    Prime Life Insurance Company Limited (PLIC) has announced a change in its promoter to public shareholding ratio.

    On the 24th Poush, 2079, the company held its 15th AGM. The AGM approved the board’s proposal to change the promoter/public share ratio of the company from 60:40 to 51:49. The company has now informed that if any of the shareholders are unwilling to convert their ownership of the founder shares into a public group, they should make a self-declaration to the company’s corporate office in Hattisar, Kathmandu, within 7 days of the date of publication of this notice.

    For the previous fiscal year, the AGM approved 10% bonus shares and 11.052632% cash dividends for its shareholders. According to the media statement, the company’s paid-up capital will increase to Rs 1.52 arba after the bonus shares.

    Multipurpose Finance Company Limited handled the process of issuing rights shares (MPFL). In an application filed on February 29, the company requested approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEBON) to issue rights shares.

    If SEBON grants permission for the said right shares, MPFL will distribute 35 percent of the paid-up capital, or 1:0.35, to shareholders. It states that a total of 15.82 lakh shares will be sold at a nominal price of Rs. 1

    Chilime Hydro Power Company Limited (CHCL) has launched 50,63,846.01 Units Bonus Shares on NEPSE.

    The board of directors suggested a 15% dividend for fiscal year 2078/79 during its 410th meeting on Mangsir 20. 7.5% bonus shares and 7.5% cash dividends of Rs. 50.63 crores each were proposed and delivered to shareholders. The current paid-up capital of the firm is Rs. 6.75 Arba. NEPSE now lists the same bonus shares.

    The company’s LTP is Rs. 475.30 as of this writing.

    According to the media statement, the AGM decided to approve 18% bonus shares and 0.95% cash dividends to its shareholders, as well as authorize the board to conduct any merger/acquisition work with suitable institutions.

    Prabhu Bank Ltd is the fund promoter of this plan, while Prabhu Capital Limited is the scheme manager. This is a closed-ended plan. This scheme will invest 35 to 90 percent of the proceeds from unit sales in shares, making it an equity-oriented scheme.

    Prabhu Bank Limited has obtained 1.12 crore units out of a total of 8 crore units available, while Prabhu Capital Limited has secured 8 lakh units.

    The Vijaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (VLBS) transaction has been halted, according to the official notice of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), since the business declared dividends to be given to shareholders without first receiving authorisation from NEPSE.

    At 6:35 PM on Magh 25, after business hours, Nepal Stock Exchange received the letter from VLBS regarding the dividend declaration for the Fiscal Year 2078/79. However, on Magh 10 itself, Vijaya Laghubitta held a meeting to suggest dividends to the shareholders.
