    The Securities Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) has included the right shares of Himalaya Urja Bikas Company (HURJA) in its pipeline, subject to preliminary review. HURJA, a hydropower company, plans to issue 100% right shares valued at Rs. 99 Crores. This will involve the issuance of 9,900,000 (1:1) units of right shares to its existing shareholders. Currently, the company has a paid-up capital of Rs. 99 Crores. Upon the successful adjustment of the proposed right shares, the company’s paid-up capital will rise to Rs. 1.98 Arba.

    To oversee the right share issuance, Nabil Investment Banking Limited has been appointed as the issue manager. The application for the right shares was submitted to the board on Ashad 31, 2080.

    In summary, Himalaya Urja Bikas Company’s right shares have been included in the SEBON pipeline for preliminary review. The company intends to issue 9,900,000 units of right shares worth Rs. 99 Crores to its existing shareholders, which will result in an increased paid-up capital of Rs. 1.98 Arba. Nabil Investment Banking Limited has been entrusted with the responsibility of managing the right share issuance process.

    The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has given its approval for the “Himalayan 80-20” mutual fund scheme, which is valued at Rs 1 Arba. This closed-end scheme will offer 10 crore unit shares with a par value of Rs 10 per share. The scheme is sponsored by Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL) and managed by Himalayan Capital Limited. It is noteworthy that this is the first mutual fund scheme to be operated by Himalayan Capital.

    Himalaya Urja Bikas Company Limited (HURJA) has announced that its 22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) will now be held on 9th Jestha, 2080. The meeting was originally scheduled for 29th Poush, 2079, but was rescheduled. The AGM will take place at Arpan Banquet in Nayabaneshwor, Kathmandu, starting at 11 am on the specified day.

    The agendas for the AGM include endorsing the annual report for the fiscal year 2078/79 prepared by the board of directors, approving the auditor’s report for the same period, appointing an auditor for the fiscal year 2079/80, and approving their compensation. The meeting will also appoint Mr. Suman Sharma Chaulagain as a Director and propose to increase the authorized and issued capital of the company to Rs. 2.5 Arba. The company will also endorse 1:1 (100%) right shares from the paid-up capital of Rs. 99 Crores and manage capital received after issuance of rights shares.

    Investors who held shares of HURJA before the book closure date of Poush 18 will be able to attend the AGM.

    Himalaya Urja Bikas Company Limited (HURJA) has been granted permission by the Electricity Regulatory Commission (ERC) to issue rights shares to the general public.

    The Electricity Regulatory Commission (ERC) has approved the distribution of right shares in a 1:1 ratio. The company proposed issuing right shares in a 1:2 ratio, or 200% of the company’s paid-up capital, at the board of directors meeting on Poush 05. The same agenda was approved at the company’s 22nd AGM, but it was subject to ERC approval. However, the board has now approved the issuance of the right shares in a 1:1 or 100% ratio rather than 1:2 or 200%.

    The 22nd AGM of the company held on 27th Poush, 2079 endorsed a 70% dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79. The bank endorsed a 60% bonus shares worth Rs. 91.10 crores and a 10% cash dividend (including tax) from the paid-up capital of Rs. 1.51 Arba. The same bonus shares are now listed in NEPSE.

The board of directors of the firm met on the 5th of Poush 2079 and suggested a 5% dividend from the paid-up capital. The firm has a paid-up capital of Rs. 1.59 Arba. A cash dividend of 0.25% (including tax) and 4.75% bonus shares were proposed. NEPSE now lists the same bonus shares.

    Yesterday, RADHI closed at Rs. 262.10.

    The company’s 30th AGM, held on Poush 28, 2079, approved a 19.11% dividend for fiscal year 2078/79. On Poush 05, the 427th board of directors meeting resolved to disburse the dividend on paid-up capital. Bonus shares worth 11.11% and cash dividends of 8% were suggested.

    NEPSE now lists the same bonus shares. HBL’s LTP is Rs. 285.

    Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL) and Civil Bank Limited (CBL) have finalized their merger, and the combined operation will commence on Falgun 12 under the name “Himalayan Bank Limited.” The business signed a merger agreement with a swap ratio of 100: 80.28.

    Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) has reported its second-quarter report with a decline in net profit by 36.41%. The net profit decreased to Rs. 29.42 Crores in this quarter from Rs. 46.27 Crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

    In this quarter, HDL reported a decline in sales revenue by 18.00%. The revenue decreased to Rs. 2.76 Arba compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year. On the other hand, the other income of the company has increased by 473.32% coming up to Rs. 61.46 Lakhs.
