However, it faced downward momentum and hit a low of 2,070.33 before finally closing at 2,077.58.

The hydropower company plans to issue 40% right shares, amounting to Rs. 1.65 Arba, through the issuance of 1,65,33,137 units of right shares to its existing shareholders. This offering will increase the company’s paid-up capital from Rs. 4.13 Arba to Rs. 5.78 Arba.

    To participate in the rights offering, shareholders must have maintained their ownership in the company until today. The book closure date has been set for Ashad 22, 2080, which means that only shareholders who meet this requirement will be eligible to participate in the rights offering.

The IPO will be open for subscription until Asar 4, 2080, and if necessary, the closing date may be extended until Asar 14, 2080.

    Interested individuals can apply for a minimum of 10 units and a maximum of 10 lakh unit shares. This information has been provided in a media statement issued by the company.

    After expanding its production capacity, Ghorahi Cement Industry can now produce 6000 tons of clinker and 4000 tons of grinding material per day, as stated in the media statement.

    Interestingly, despite the market being scheduled to open at 11:00 am this morning, all 50 current brokers were still non-operational. In light of this situation, a meeting was arranged with relevant stakeholders at the Ministry of Finance’s Singhadurbar headquarters. During the meeting, Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, the current finance minister, emphasized that investors should remain calm and assured them that the only tax applicable to profits from trading shares would be the Capital Gain Tax (CGT).

    The trading day commenced with the index opening at 1,866.35 points. At its lowest point in the intraday session, it reached 1,865.73 points. However, it experienced a significant surge, reaching as high as 1,925.11 points before ultimately closing at 1,919.37 points.     All sector indices concluded the day on a positive note, with the “Non-Life Insurance” sector experiencing the highest gain of 1.93%. The “Mutual Fund” sector had the smallest gain of 0.06% on the day.

    Mithila Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBBL) recently listed 2,55,655.77 unit bonus shares on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). The company held its 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 17th of Falgun, during which it approved a dividend of 15.789% for the fiscal year 2078/79.

    In addition to the dividend, the board of directors, in its 231st meeting on Poush 28, decided to distribute 15% bonus shares valued at Rs. 2.55 crores and a cash dividend of 0.789473681%, amounting to Rs. 13.45 lakhs. These dividends were distributed from MLBBL’s paid-up capital of Rs. 17.04 crores. Now, these bonus shares have been officially listed on NEPSE.

    As of the time of writing, the Last Traded Price (LTP) of MLBBL’s shares on NEPSE stands at Rs. 750.
