    Hathway Investment Nepal Limited (HATHY) has notified its investors and stakeholders regarding the impending expiration of the lock-in period for 36,512 unit shares held by Mutual Funds. The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has directed that this lock-in period will conclude on 1st Chaitra, 2080.

    HATHY, with a total of 25,740,000 units of shares listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), had allocated 5 percent of 29,25,000 shares exclusively for Mutual Funds, resulting in the issuance of 146,250 unit shares. However, only 36,512 units are currently subject to the lock-in period.

    In compliance with SEBON’s directives issued on Mangsir 25, a portion of these shares, precisely 36,512 units, were placed under a lock-in period. Stakeholders and investors are now informed that the lock-in period for these 36,512 unit shares concluded on Chaitra 1.

    The closing market price for HATHY stood at Rs. 863.90 as of the previous trading day.

    Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (MEN) has scheduled its 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the 13th of Chaitra, 2080. The meeting is set to take place at Amrapali Banquet Catering & Events in Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu, starting at 10:30 AM on the specified date. Among the key agendas to be discussed during the AGM is the endorsement of a 15.7895% dividend for the fiscal year 2079/80. The proposal for this dividend was put forth during the 106th board of directors meeting held on Poush 22. The proposed dividend includes 15% bonus shares and 0.7895% cash dividends (for tax purposes).

    In addition to the dividend-related discussions, the AGM will cover other essential topics such as the endorsement of the auditor’s report, which includes Profit and Loss (PL) statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports. Moreover, there will be an agenda to appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2080/81.

    National Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NMFBS) has convened its 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for March 16, 2080. The AGM will take place at Dhulikhel Lodge Resort, Dhulikhel, Kavrepalanchowk, commencing at 10:30 AM. Among the proposed agendas, the AGM will consider endorsing a 15% dividend for the fiscal year 2079/80. The decision was made during the 163rd board of directors meeting on Magh 22. The proposed dividend includes 7.5% bonus shares and 7.5% cash dividend (for tax purposes), totaling Rs. 32.52 crores based on the paid-up capital of Rs. 1.08 Arba.

    Sahas Urja Limited (SAHAS) has released its revised third-quarter report for the fiscal year 2079/80. The company’s net profit for this quarter has decreased to Rs. 26.51 crores compared to Rs. 58.13 crores in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

    SAHAS has generated revenue of Rs. 21.80 crores from the sale of electricity. However, the company has experienced a significant increase in administrative expenses, reaching Rs. 1.67 crores by the end of the third quarter. Additionally, finance expenses for the company amounted to Rs. 14.71 crores during Q3 of FY 079/80.

    The paid-up capital of SAHAS is Rs. 3.50 Arba, and it has Rs. 2.36 Arba in reserves and accumulated profit. The company’s earnings per share (EPS) ratio is Rs. 10.10, and the net worth per share is Rs. 167.53. The quarter-end price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio for SAHAS is 69.03 times. At the end of the third quarter, the company’s closing stock price was Rs. 518.

    SAHAS has completed the construction and testing of the 83 MW Solukhola (Dudhkoshi) Hydropower project in Solukhumbu. The commercial production of electricity from this project began on 2079/11/17. The company has billed the Nepal Electricity Authority for the electricity sales, and the payments are currently being made by NEA.

    According to the management analysis of SAHAS, the other income mentioned in the financial statement is not real, as it is generated by applying the principles of IFRIC 12: Service Concession Arrangement based on the NFRS system.

The program, which began with a sum of Rs. 82 crores, has invested Rs. 48.38 crores in listed company shares and Rs. 4.91 crores in non-listed company shares. This program invested Rs. 3 crores in fixed-income assets, Rs. 15.86 crores in debentures, and Rs. 3.4 crores in bank balance.

    It declared a net loss of Rs. 20.17 crores until the end of Chaitra. The previous month’s loss was Rs. 21.36 crores.

    According to regulatory guidelines, the 93rd meeting of the board of directors of Chhyangdi Hydropower Company Ltd (CHL) convened on Tuesday Chaitra 21, 2079 agreed to issue 100% right shares on a paid-up capital of Rs. 38.67 Crores.

    Earlier, the business sought to issue right shares in the ratio of 150% of the paid-up capital, i.e. 1:1.5, after gaining regulatory permission. Yet, the decision was submitted for approval at the company’s annual general meeting.

    The Securities Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) has approved Three Star Hydropower Limited’s proposed initial public offering (IPO) on Chaitra 17.

    The company will now issue 1,231,250 equity shares with NPR 100 par value each. The issue is worth Rs. 12.31 crore. This is equivalent to 25% of the company’s issued capital. After the IPO, the company’s total paid-up capital would be Rs 49.25 crores.
