    The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index registered a decline of 6.46 points or 0.31% compared to the previous day’s closing, settling at 2,026.59 points, following a loss of 1.76 points in the preceding trading session.

    As today’s trading commenced, the market opened with the index at 2,034.39 points, achieving an intraday high of 2,044.44 and reaching a low of 2,020.88.

    Throughout the trading session today, a total of 313 different stocks were traded in 58,362 transactions. The total volume of shares traded amounted to 6,341,174, leading to a turnover of Rs. 2.24 Arba. The market capitalization was reported at Rs. 31.85 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.91 Kharba.

    Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) dominated in turnover, accumulating Rs. 11.12 crores and concluding the day with a market price of Rs. 633.20.

    While four companies experienced positive circuits during the trading day, Peoples Hydropower Company Limited (PHCL) marked the most significant decline, incurring a loss of 7.84%.

    In terms of sector indices, only one sector closed in the green today, with the “Manufacturing And Processing Index” witnessing the highest gain of 2.84%. Conversely, the “HydroPower Index” experienced a loss of 0.88%.

    The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a decline, with the index experiencing a loss of 18.06 points, equivalent to 0.96%, compared to the previous day’s closing, concluding at 1,858.53 points. This follows the trend from the preceding trading day, which incurred a loss of 17.93 points.

    The trading day commenced with the index opening at 1874.24 and fluctuated between an intraday low of 1,851.32 and an intraday high of 1,876.40.

    During the session, 289 different stocks were traded through 37,031 transactions, resulting in a total turnover of Rs. 1.32 arba. The float market capitalization amounted to Rs. 9.98 Kharba, and the overall market capitalization was Rs. 28.65 Kharba.

    Notably, Nepal Insurance Co. Ltd Promoter Share (NICLPO) recorded the highest turnover for the day at Rs. 11.67 crores, with a market price of Rs. 423.

    The day’s gainers were led by Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited (RURU), posting an increase of 5.63%. Conversely, Vijaya laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (VLBS), Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (MEN), and United IDI Mardi RB Hydropower Limited. (UMRH) each suffered losses of 10%.

    With the exception of “Mutual Fund,” all sector indices concluded in the red. The “Mutual Fund” sector experienced the most gain, registering an increase of 0.11%, while the “HydroPower Index” witnessed a loss of 1.73%.

    The trading session reflected ongoing market dynamics, with investors closely monitoring sectoral performances and individual stock movements.

    The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index experienced a decline of 23.82 points, equivalent to a 1.28% decrease compared to the previous day’s closing, settling at 1,829.65 points. In contrast, the index had recorded a gain of 1.39 points during the preceding trading session.

    Commencing at 1853.17, the index witnessed fluctuations throughout the day, reaching an intraday low of 1,821.38 and a high of 1,853.87.

    Today’s trading session involved 285 different stocks, with a total of 37,607 transactions taking place. The traded volume amounted to 3,675,101 shares, resulting in a cumulative turnover of Rs. 95.04 crore. The market capitalization, based on a float market capitalization of Rs. 9.85 Kharba, stood at Rs. 28.21 Kharba.

    Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) secured the highest turnover of Rs. 7.78 crores, with a market price of Rs. 1,622.50.

    Noteworthy in today’s market activity, Menchhiyam Hydropower Limited (MCHL) emerged as the top gainer, achieving an 8.13% increase. Conversely, Mathillo Mailun Khola Jalvidhyut Limited (MMKJL) incurred the most significant loss of 9.94%.

    With the exception of the “Mutual Fund” sector, all other sector indexes concluded in negative territory. “Manufacturing And Processing” exhibited the most considerable loss at 3.12%, while “Mutual Fund” experienced a modest gain of 0.42%.

    The NEPSE index concluded today’s trading session at 2,163.92, experiencing a slight loss of 1.31 points compared to the previous day’s closing. This translates to a minimal decrease of 0.06% on the index. In contrast, the index had gained 11.17 points in the preceding trading session.

    Throughout the day, a total of 264 scrips were exchanged through 54,954 transactions. The Float index witnessed a decline of 0.13% and currently stands at 150.04, while the Sensitive index saw a marginal gain of 0.01%, bringing it to 410.52. The overall market capitalization amounted to Rs. 3.17 Trillion, with the float market capitalization reaching Rs. 1.12 Trillion.

    SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) recorded the highest turnover of Rs. 14.23 crores, closing at a market price of Rs. 635 per share. Among the various stocks, KBL was the most actively traded.

    During the trading session, two scrips registered a significant gain of 10%, hitting the positive circuit breaker. On the other hand, two mutual funds experienced a complete loss for the day.

    Out of the various sectors, five managed to gain ground, while all others closed in the red. “Mutual Funds” was the sector with the highest loss, declining by 1.21%. Conversely, the “Trading” sector showed the most notable gain, surging by 6.35% during the day’s trading activities.
