    The NEPSE Index experienced a modest gain of 1.39 points, equivalent to 0.07% compared to the previous day’s closing, reaching a concluding value of 1,853.48 points. Notably, in the last trading session before the Tihar break, the index had encountered a loss of 11.85 points. The day commenced with an opening value of 1852.29, hitting an intraday low of 1,846.52 and reaching an intraday high of 1,873.34.

    Throughout the trading session, a total of 44,727 trades involving 284 different stocks were executed. The overall turnover amounted to Rs. 1.09 Arba, with 3,319,558 units of shares changing hands. The market capitalization, based on float, stood at Rs. 9.97 Kharba, contributing to an overall market capitalization of Rs. 28.55 Kharba.

    Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) led in terms of turnover, concluding at a market price of Rs. 1,737 and achieving the highest turnover of Rs. 7.36 crores. Global IME Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (GILB) emerged as the top gainer for the day with a growth of 9.98%, closely followed by Karnali Development Bank Limited (KRBL) at 9.96%. Conversely, Forward Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (FOWAD) and Sayapatri Hydropower Limited (SPHL) experienced the most significant losses, both at 10%.

    Despite fluctuations, all sector indexes concluded on a positive note, except for “Hotels And Tourism Index,” “Manufacturing And Processing,” “Microfinance Index,” and “Others Index.” Notably, the “Trading Index” recorded the highest daily gain of 1.42%, while the “Manufacturing And Processing” sector saw the most substantial loss, amounting to 1.91%.

    Nepal Warehousing Company is set to conclude the issuance of its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for Foreign Nepalese Immigrants today, marking the 24th of Kartik as the closing day. The IPO, which opened on the 10th of Kartik, 2080, has a total issued capital of Rs. 68.75 Crores. Of this, 20%, equivalent to 13,75,000 unit shares worth Rs. 13.75 Crores, will be allocated for the general public. Within this public issue, 10% of the shares, totaling 1,37,500 units, have been earmarked for Nepalese citizens working abroad, and the subscription for this segment will close today.

    Out of the 13,75,000 units, 68,750 units (5% of the total) are reserved for mutual funds, and 27,500 units (2% of the total) are designated for the company’s employees. The remaining 11,41,250 units are available for the general public. Himalayan Capital is appointed as the issue manager for the IPO, with a minimum application quantity of 10 units and a maximum of 50,000 units.

    As per the Central Depository and Clearing Company (CDSC), substantial interest has been seen in the IPO, with 32,605 applicants applying for a total of 7,86,220 units. Consequently, the issue has already been oversubscribed by 5.71 times as of 10 AM today.

    ICRA Nepal has reaffirmed the issuer rating of [ICRANP-IR] BB- to Nepal Warehousing Company Limited. This rating suggests a moderate risk of default regarding the timely servicing of financial obligations for the company.

    Established under the Company Act, 2063 of Nepal, Nepal Warehousing Company aims to address the warehousing needs of farmers, traders, millers, and businessmen involved in grain trade for commercial and industrial purposes. The company seeks to combat post-harvest losses, maintain product quality, and address the challenge of preserving grains in a conducive environment.     Api Power Company Limited (API) has successfully listed 1,65,33,137 units of right shares on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). The company had previously issued a 1:0.4 ratio right share to its shareholders, allowing them to apply for these shares from the 31st of Shrawan to the 19th of Bhadra, 2080. Out of the total right shares available, which amounted to 1,65,33,137 units, eligible shareholders submitted applications for 1,53,38,203 units. The allotment of shares was then carried out based on the received applications.

    Following the allotment, API conducted an auction for the remaining 11,94,934 units of unsubscribed right shares, which took place from the 17th to the 24th of Ashwin, 2080. Muktinath Capital served as the auction manager for this process. As of the latest update, API is trading at a Last Traded Price (LTP) of Rs. 168.

    Similarly, Multipurpose Finance Company Limited (MPFL) has listed 15,82,000 units of right shares on NEPSE. The company had earlier issued a 1:0.35 ratio right share to its shareholders, allowing applications from the 10th to the 31st of Bhadra, 2080. Out of the total right shares offered, eligible shareholders applied for 1,439,227 units, and the allotment was done accordingly.

    Subsequently, MPFL conducted an auction for the remaining 1,42,773 units of unsubscribed right shares, which took place from the 29th of Ashwin to the 13th of Kartik, 2080. Muktinath Capital served as the auction manager for this process as well. As of the latest update, MPFL is trading at an LTP of Rs. 278.
