    Citizen Life Insurance Company Limited is concluding its public offering of 90,00,000 unit shares starting today, which commenced on the 15th of Bhadra, 2080.

    The company’s total issued capital is Rs. 3.75 Arba, and out of this, 30%, or 1,12,50,000 unit shares, are being offered to the public, including Nepalese citizens working abroad.

    Of the total offering, 10% (11,25,000 unit shares) went to Nepalese citizens working abroad, 5% (562,500 units) is reserved for company employees, and another 5% (562,500 units) is set aside for mutual funds. The remaining 90,00,000 units are available to the general public since Bhadra 15.

    These shares are being issued at Rs. 244 per share (comprising a Rs. 100 face value and a Rs. 144 premium) for the general public, while employees of the company can obtain them at a par value of Rs. 100.

    NIMB Ace Capital is overseeing the issuance. The IPO is expected to raise a total of Rs. 2.66 Arba for the company, with Rs. 1.53 Arba as the premium amount and the rest contributing to the paid-up capital.

    As per the CDSC (Central Depository and Clearing Company), there have been 11,07,048 applicants, applying for a total of 12,450,120 units worth Rs. 3.03 Arba. Consequently, the offering has already been oversubscribed by 1.38 times.

    The IPO allotment process of Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited has been completed today at the offices of the issue manager, Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Limited, in Kathmandu.

    Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited had offered 76,80,000 unit IPO shares at a price of Rs. 239 per share, which consists of a face value of Rs. 100 and a premium price of Rs. 139 per share. The offering was open to the general public from Sharwan 32 to Bhadra 4, 2080.

    The total issued capital of the life insurance company is Rs. 3.2 Arba, with 30% or 96,00,000 unit shares allocated for the public, including Nepalese citizens working abroad and the general public. Out of this total offering, 10%, equivalent to 960,000 unit shares, was made available to Nepalese citizens working abroad from the 1st to the 15th of Shrawan. The remaining 86,40,000 units were designated for the general public, which also includes company employees and mutual funds, during the specified dates mentioned above.

    The allocation of IPO shares for Manakamana Engineering Hydropower Limited has been completed today at the B.O.K Capital Markets Limited premises in Kathmandu. The hydropower company offered 2,276,620 shares at a face value of Rs 100 each to the public for subscription from the 28th to the 31st of Shrawan, 2080.

    Initially, the company had issued 800,000 shares worth Rs. 8 crores to people affected by the project in Dolakha District. However, only 183,380 shares, which accounts for 22.92%, were allotted to eligible applicants. As a result, the remaining 616,620 unsold shares from the project-affected locals’ quota have been combined with 2,000,000 shares (25% of the total issued capital, reserved for the general public), resulting in a total of 2,616,620 shares available for the general public.

    The allotment for Upper Lohore Hydropower Company Limited’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) was completed today at Kaji Kitchen, Battisputali, Kathmandu. NICA Asia Capital acted as the issue manager for this IPO. The company had initially issued 19,53,279 IPO shares with a face value of Rs 100 each to the public from 18th to 22nd Shrawan, 2080.

    Earlier, the company had also issued 509,804 shares worth Rs. 5.09 crores to locals affected by the project in Dailekh District. However, only 206,760 units (40.55%) of these shares were allocated to eligible applicants. As a result, the remaining 303,044 units of unsubscribed shares from the project-affected locals were combined with 19,88,236 units (39% of the total issued capital) set aside for the general public. This brought the total number of units available to the general public to 22,91,280.

    Reliable Nepal Life Insurance Limited is wrapping up its offering of 96,00,000 unit shares to the public, which began on August 23, 2080, and is now concluding on August 26, 2080.

    This life insurance company has a total issued capital of Rs. 4 Arba, with 30% (1,20,00,000 unit shares) being made available to the public, including Nepalese citizens abroad and the general public. Within this allocation, 10% (12,00,000 unit shares) were reserved for Nepalese citizens working overseas, while 5% (600,000 units) were set aside for the company’s employees, and another 5% (600,000 units) for mutual funds. The remaining 96,00,000 units are designated for the general public.

    The life insurance company recently offered its regular shares to the public at a premium price of Rs 244 per share, starting from Asar 31 to Shrawan 14, 2080. According to a press release, the company distributed shares based on different categories of applicants. Around 7,885 applicants received shares based on their requested quantity within the range of 10 to 40 units. Additionally, 19,743 applicants who had applied for 50 to 2000 units were allotted 40-unit shares each. In a stroke of luck, 18,029 applicants from the latter group were selected through a lucky draw to receive an extra 10-unit shares.

    The IPO allotment of Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited is scheduled to take place on Sunday, the 7th of Shrawan, 2080. The allotment program will be conducted at the premises of the issue manager, NMB Capital Limited, located in Nagpokhari, Kathmandu, starting at 9 am.

    According to data provided by the Central Depository System and Clearing Limited (CDSC), the IPO received an overwhelming response, with approximately 973,353 applications filed for a total of 10,481,890 units till the last day. This indicates that the IPO was oversubscribed by an impressive 103.62 times in terms of the number of units through ordinary applicants as of the closing day.

    Considering the data, it becomes evident that only 10,115 fortunate applicants will be selected to become shareholders of the company.

    Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Ltd. was initially incorporated on August 11, 2011, as a private limited company and was later converted into a public limited company on January 28, 2015, to facilitate public participation. The company is currently operating a 0.998-Megawatt Suspa Bukhari Khola Small Hydro Power Plant (HPP) in the Dolakha district of Madhesh Province, Nepal. The project follows a run-of-the-river (R-o-R) type approach with a 40% probability of exceedance (Q40). It commenced commercial operations on September 20, 2015, and was developed at a total cost of approximately NPR 248 million.

    The IPO allotment of Ghorahi Cement Industry Limited took place at the premises of Nabil Investment Banking Limited in Naxal, Kathmandu. The company had initially issued 69,11,670 units of IPO shares at a price of Rs. 435 per unit (including a premium of Rs. 335) to the general public on Jestha 32, 2079.

    However, the IPO faced a temporary setback when the issue was paused due to investors applying for shares without having sufficient funds. After conducting a thorough investigation, the company took transparent and corrective measures. As a result, Ghorahi Cement Industry Limited has decided to re-issue the 69,11,670 units of IPO shares to the general public from the 22nd to the 25th of Ashad, 2080.

    The company has a total issued capital of Rs. 3.97 Arba, out of which 20% (79,43,801 unit shares) was set aside for the public, including locals, Nepalese citizens working abroad, and the general public. Additionally, 1% (397,190 unit shares) were issued to project-affected locals of Dang District, and 7,54,661 unit shares were issued to Nepalese citizens working abroad starting from 18th Baisakh.

    Out of the shares issued to project-affected locals, only 77,290 shares were allotted to valid applicants. The public issue for Nepalese migrant workers was undersubscribed by 19.65% or 148,311 units. Consequently, the unsubscribed shares were added to the shares reserved for the general public.

    According to the offer letter, out of the total issued capital, 79,43,801 unit shares (20%) were allotted to the project-affected locals, 606,350 units were allotted to Nepalese citizens working abroad, 328,961 units were set aside for mutual funds, and 19,530 units were reserved for the company’s employees. The remaining shares, after all previous allotments and reservations, amount to a total of 69,11,670 units and are available for the general public.

    The IPO received applications from 5,57,701 valid applicants, who applied for a total of 77,93,710 units, resulting in oversubscription by more than 1.12 times.

    In summary, Ghorahi Cement Industry Limited concluded its IPO allotment and has decided to reissue the shares to the general public. The company faced initial challenges due to insufficient funds from investors but has taken corrective measures. The IPO received significant interest from valid applicants, oversubscribing the issue.
