    Nesdo Sambridha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NESDO) has suggested a 15% cash dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79. In their 78th meeting on Chaita 10, 2079, the company proposed a dividend of 73.6842%, combining bonus and cash dividends (including tax), using the accumulated profit from the previous financial year. However, Nepal Rastra Bank later approved a dividend of 17.9342% on Baisakh 04, 2080.

    A total of 18,55,211 unit bonus shares of Arun Kabeli Power Limited (AKPL) have recently been listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). The listing comes after the company’s 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on the 30th of Kartik, where a dividend of 10.5263% for the fiscal year 2078/79 was approved. The board of directors, during a meeting on Kartik 06, decided to distribute this dividend based on the paid-up capital, which stands at Rs. 1.85 Arba.

    The proposed dividend consists of 10% bonus shares valued at Rs. 18.55 Crores and a cash dividend of 0.5263% amounting to Rs. 1.05 Crores. These bonus shares are now officially listed on the NEPSE, making them available for trading.

    As of the current writing, the Last Traded Price (LTP) of AKPL stands at Rs. 227.50. Investors and shareholders will be able to trade the newly listed bonus shares on the exchange, reflecting the company’s distribution of profits among its shareholders for the specified fiscal year.

    Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL) has scheduled its 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to take place on the 22nd of Ashad, 2080. The AGM will be held at The Dhulikhel Lodge Resort in Dhulikhel, Kavrepalanchowk, starting at 11 AM.

    One of the key agenda items to be discussed and endorsed during the meeting is the distribution of a 15% dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79. The board of directors has proposed to distribute the dividend based on the company’s paid-up capital of Rs. 13.20 crores. This includes 10% bonus shares worth Rs. 1.32 crores and a 5% cash dividend amounting to Rs. 66 lakhs. Additionally, the election of four directors from the promoter shareholding group and two directors from the public shareholding group will be conducted.

    The AGM will also cover the endorsement of the auditor’s report, including profit and loss statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports.     Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) has put forward a proposal to distribute a 26.3158% dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79. The decision was made during a board of directors meeting held on Baisakh 29. The proposed dividend consists of a 25% bonus shares allocation and a 1.3158% cash dividend (for tax purposes). The current paid-up capital of CIT stands at Rs 4,251,000,576.

    It is important to note that the dividend proposal is subject to approval from the Ministry of Finance, Nepal Government, and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

    As of the latest trading day, CIT’s closing price stands at Rs. 2,011.

    Garima Bikas Bank Limited has distributed 13% bonus shares directly to the DEMAT account of its shareholders and has urged them to dematerialize their shares. This was announced after the bank’s 16th AGM where it also endorsed a 14.5% dividend worth Rs. 66.56 Crores for the fiscal year 2078/79. The board of directors meeting held later decided to distribute a 14.5% dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 4.59 Arba.

    In addition to the bonus shares, 1.50% cash dividend worth Rs 6.88 Crores was proposed. The bonus shares were already listed in NEPSE. The bank has also requested its shareholders to pay the tax amount for the 16% bonus shares proposed for FY 2077/2078.     The bank’s decision to distribute bonus shares and dividends is expected to benefit its shareholders. The distribution of bonus shares will increase their ownership in the bank, while the dividend payment will provide them with a direct cash payment. This will facilitate electronic trading of shares, making it easier for shareholders to trade them in the secondary market.

    Rastra Utthan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (RULB) has proposed a 15% dividend worth Rs. 3.9 Crores for the fiscal year 2078/79. This marks the company’s first dividend after being listed in NEPSE. The board of directors decided in its 86th meeting on Baisakh 13 to distribute 14.25% bonus shares and 0.75% cash dividend (including the amount for tax purposes) from the paid-up capital of Rs. 26 Crores. The bonus shares are valued at Rs. 3.7 crores, and the cash dividend is worth Rs. 19.50 lakhs. However, the dividend will only be distributed after receiving approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and endorsement by the upcoming AGM. RULB’s last-day close stands at Rs. 622.80 at the time of writing.

    On Chaitra 09, the board of directors resolved to disburse the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 25.50 crores. There was a proposal for 50% bonus shares worth Rs. 12.75 crores and a cash dividend of 23.68% worth Rs. 6.03 crores.

    The dividend was only to be issued following clearance from Nepal Rastra Bank and approval from the company’s upcoming AGM. According to the NRB’s recommendations, the corporation has increased the dividend from Rs. 25.50 crores to a maximum of 17.93%.

    The EDBL Board of Directors decided on Chaitra 27, 2079, that no dividends will be paid for fiscal year 2078/79. The financial statements, however, are subject to approval by Nepal Rastra Bank and the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting.

    The board of directors decided to distribute 3.80% bonus shares and 0.20% cash dividend (for tax purposes) from the paid-up capital at its 191st meeting on Chaitra 26. Because the company’s paid-up capital is Rs. 51.90 crores, the bonus shares are worth Rs. 1,97,22,000 and the cash dividend is worth Rs. 10,38,000.
