The Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) has applauded the coalition government’s shared minimum agenda, which was unveiled on Sunday and emphasised industrialization, a production-oriented economy, and coronavirus management.
The CNI-launched βMake in Nepal National Campaign’ would be supported by the government’s production-focused economy programme, according to CNI, who added that the Make in Nepal campaign was also a production-oriented economy.
The CNI’s campaign advocated for domestic manufacture and promotion of goods and services. It stated that the goal to replace imports with domestic products is a positive move.
The CNI also welcomes the announcement of a guarantee of vaccines to all eligible populations by March, as well as a relief package for industry, tourism, media, and transportation sectors that have suffered greatly as a result of COVID-19.
