Nepal SBI Bank Limited (SBI) has initiated the distribution of dividends directly to the bank accounts of its shareholders, amounting to 10.55%.
The decision was made during the 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the fiscal year 2079/80, held on 13th Poush, 2080. The company’s board of directors, in its 506th meeting on Mangsir 01, 2080, decided to distribute a 10.55% dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 10.12 Arba. This dividend includes 3.75% bonus shares valued at Rs. 68.82 Crores and a 6.8% cash dividend (inclusive of tax) amounting to Rs. 37.95 Crores.
To facilitate the dividend distribution process, Nepal SBI Bank urges its shareholders to dematerialize their shares and update their bank information in the Demat account promptly.
Additionally, eligible investors who have taken a loan against the company’s shares before the book closure date are required to provide a No Objection Letter from their lending institution to receive the dividend.
