According to a European organization that monitors air quality across the world, Kathmandu ranked ninth on the list of the worldR17;s most polluted cities on Saturday.
According to IQAir, a real-time air quality information platform, PakistanR17;s Lahore is the world’s most polluted city, followed by the South Korean city of Incheon, in second place.
Meanwhile, the Indian capital, New Delhi, was ranked third in terms of quality of life.

IQAut is a Swiss air quality technology firm that specializes in the protection against airborne contaminants. The company conducts environmental pollution monitoring and produces air cleaning products.
According to IQAir, the PM-2.5 level in Kathmandu hit 176 per hour this morning, which is more than the recommended range for human health (151).
