In a recent interview, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma stated that cryptocurrency transactions may be permitted in the future on the stock market.
The Minister of Finance, Ramesh Sharma, said at a seminar held by Nepal Rastra Bank on Wednesday that “first and foremost, we must promote the usage of digital payment systems, after which we may move toward the use of cryptocurrencies.”
What is cryptocurrency, and how does it work?
In the digital or virtual currency world, cryptocurrency is a digital or virtual currency that may be used to purchase services and goods. As a result, there are no central banks for cryptocurrencies, and instead, transactions are recorded by a number of ‘blockchains’ in computers of cryptocurrency users all over the world, making it nearly hard to hack and manipulate. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Cardano, and other cryptocurrencies are instances of digital assets.
