The price of gold has risen by Rs. 300 per tola today, reflecting a significant increase compared to yesterday’s rates. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the current price for fine gold is now Rs. 1,42,300 per tola, up from Rs. 1,42,000 per tola the previous day.
Similarly, the price of Tejabi gold has climbed to Rs. 1,42,600 per tola, marking a Rs. 300 increase from the previous day’s Rs. 1,41,300 per tola.
On June 7, 2024, fine gold peaked at Rs. 1,45,000 per tola, illustrating the ongoing volatility in the precious metals market.
Silver prices have also increased, with a rise of Rs. 5 per tola. The new price is Rs. 1,820 per tola, compared to the previous day’s Rs. 1,825 per tola.
This upward trend in the domestic market is influenced by global economic factors. The latest international gold rate is $2,323.50 per ounce, while silver is priced at $29.56 per ounce in the global market.
