Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) is set to host its 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 31st Ashadh, 2081, at the Tribhuwan Army Club in Bhadrakali, Kathmandu. The meeting will commence at 11:00 am.
A key highlight of the AGM will be the endorsement of a 14.7368% dividend for the fiscal year 2079/80. The Board of Directors decided on Jestha 32 to distribute this dividend, which includes 14% bonus shares and a 0.7368% cash dividend to cover tax obligations. CIT’s current paid-up capital stands at Rs 5.31 Arba.
In addition to the dividend approval, the AGM will address several other important agendas. These include the endorsement of the auditor’s report, profit and loss statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports. The meeting will also appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2080/81. Furthermore, there is an agenda to designate one representative each on behalf of shareholders and directors to sign the decision book of the general meeting.
The book closure date has been set for Ashadh 20. Shareholders registered before this date will be eligible for the dividend payout and are entitled to attend the AGM.
