Nepal Bank Offers Lowest Interest Rate in Market at 7.70% for Housing Loans

Nepal Bank Limited, the oldest bank in Nepal, has introduced the most competitive interest rate in the country’s banking sector, offering loans at a low rate of 7.70%. This initiative is part of the bank’s response to increasing market demand for affordable financing solutions.

The bank’s “Sarbasulab Housing Loan” scheme provides an opportunity for customers to buy, construct, or renovate their homes, purchase apartments, or even switch loans from other banks. The loan amount ranges from NPR 5 lakhs to 2 crores, with repayment periods extending from 5 to 25 years. Additionally, customers can benefit from a service charge discount of up to 33.33%, making home ownership more accessible.

Along with housing loans, Nepal Bank has also reduced interest rates on other financial products. Under the “Prosperous Business Loan” scheme, the interest rate has been reduced to 8.28% for loans up to NPR 10 crores. Furthermore, the bank’s “NBL Auto Loan” for new vehicles now comes with a rate of 7.78%, with repayment options ranging from 5 to 7 years.
