Gold Prices Surge by Rs. 1,500, Silver Also Rises


The price of gold soared by Rs. 1,500 per tola today, with fine gold now priced at Rs. 1,57,100 per tola, a notable increase from yesterday’s price of Rs. 1,55,600 per tola. This surge underscores the ongoing volatility in the gold market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of Tejabi gold also climbed, reaching Rs. 1,56,400 per tola, up from Rs. 1,54,900 the previous day.

On September 16, 2024, fine gold hit Rs. 1,57,300 per tola, reflecting the frequent fluctuations in gold prices.

Silver followed suit with an increase of Rs. 35 per tola, now priced at Rs. 1,915 per tola, up from Rs. 1,880 the day before.
