Sahas Urja Limited Announces 8.421% Dividend


Sahas Urja Limited (SAHAS) has declared an 8.421% dividend for the fiscal year 2080/81 and has scheduled its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 4th Kartik, 2081. The AGM will be held at Karki Banquet, Babarmahal, Kathmandu, starting at 11:00 AM.

The company has proposed 8% bonus shares worth Rs. 28 Crores and a 0.421% cash dividend (including tax) worth Rs. 1.47 Crores, based on its current paid-up capital of Rs. 3.50 Arba.

In addition to the dividend, Sahas Urja Limited has resolved to issue 100% right shares worth Rs. 3.78 Arba after accounting for the allocation of the 8% bonus shares. This adjustment will boost the company’s paid-up capital to Rs. 7.56 Arba.

Key items on the AGM agenda include the endorsement of the auditor’s report, Profit & Loss statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports for FY 2080/81. Additionally, the appointment of an auditor for the fiscal year 2081/82, as well as the election of four directors from the promoter shareholding group and two directors from the public shareholding group, will be discussed. An independent director will also be appointed.

The book closure for the proposed dividend and AGM is on 13th Ashwin, 2081, meaning shareholders listed by 10th Ashwin are eligible for the dividend and can attend the AGM.
