Gold Prices in Nepal Hit Record High at Rs. 1,53,400 Per Tola

The gold market in Nepal has reached a new high, with prices surging on September 11, 2024. As per the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold jumped to Rs. 1,53,400 per tola, an increase from Rs. 1,52,400 recorded the day before.

Similarly, Tejabi gold experienced a price hike, now valued at Rs. 1,52,700 per tola, up by Rs. 1,000 from its previous rate of Rs. 1,51,700 per tola.

This surge follows a recent high on September 6, 2024, when fine gold touched Rs. 1,53,300 per tola, underscoring the volatile nature of the market.

The price of silver has also risen, increasing by Rs. 15 per tola to Rs. 1,780, compared to Rs. 1,765 on the previous day.

These domestic price increases are driven by a combination of local demand and global economic factors. On the international stage, gold is trading at $2,520.10 per ounce, while silver is valued at $28.46 per ounce.
