Under its corporate social responsibility, Sanima Bank has signed a memorandum of understanding to donate Rs. 10 million in financial assistance to the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health for the development of a children’s hospital.
The Kathmandu Institute of Child Health, according to the bank, aspires to develop well-equipped facilities in all states, including the capital Kathmandu, to provide important health services to children.
Dr Bhagwan Koirala, on behalf of Kathmandu Institute of Child Health, and Tej Bahadur Chand, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, on behalf of Sanima Bank, signed the MoU at a ceremony conducted at the bank.
Dr. Bhagwan Koirala, the founder and president of the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health, is a cardiologist, lecturer, and social worker.
Sanima Bank currently operates 86 branch networks, 18 expanded counters, and 96 ATMs across the country.
