NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) is auctioning 50,000 units of promoter shares of Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) to qualified investors from 7th Shrawan to 14th Shrawan, 2081. The auction allows eligible investors to place their bids with a minimum bid rate of Rs. 707 and a minimum bid quantity of 10,000 units. Bids should be submitted at the bank’s central office located at Trade Tower Nepal, Thapathali, Kathmandu. Bidders can bid for all 50,000 units but must comply with Nepal Rastra Bank’s rules on share quantity limits per entity. As of the latest update, CIT shares closed at Rs. 2,105.00, while CITPO shares have a last trading price (LTP) of Rs. 717.
In other news, Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL) is also conducting an auction. The existing promoter, Chanchal Devi Jain, is selling 72,927 units of shares to the general public and institutions starting today, 7th Shrawan, 2081. Interested bidders have seven days from the publication date of the notice to submit their bids at the central office in Hattisar, Kathmandu. This auction comes after no bids were received from existing founder shareholders within the given timeframe. Currently, SBL shares are trading at Rs. 316.90, and SBLPO shares have an LTP of Rs. 137.70.
