You need to keep track of all these things, broker are just leeches, once they forgot to deposit more than a lakh rupee in my account of sold shares, i did my own accounting requesting bank statements and broker share statements, i then contacted the broker office with whole stuff and then, it took few week of calls but they deposited it and they were not even sorry for that. If only i had not done my own accounting i would have lost 1 lakh rupee
