The price of gold in Nepal has surged by Rs. 1,800 per tola today, compared to yesterday’s rates. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the current price for fine gold is Rs. 1,47,800 per tola, marking a significant increase from the previous day’s Rs. 1,46,000 per tola.
Tejabi gold prices have also climbed, now standing at Rs. 1,47,100 per tola, reflecting a rise of Rs. 1,800 from the previous day’s price of Rs. 1,45,300 per tola. This notable price hike highlights the ongoing volatility in the precious metals market. On July 17, 2024, fine gold reached a peak of Rs. 149,800 per tola, emphasizing the fluctuating nature of gold prices.
Additionally, the cost of silver has increased by Rs. 40 per tola, with the new price now set at Rs. 1,780 per tola, up from the previous day’s Rs. 1,740 per tola.
