Gold Prices Soar by Rs. 1,600 Per Tola in Nepal

The price of gold in Nepal has surged by Rs. 1,600 per tola today, marking a significant increase compared to yesterday’s rates. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA) reports that fine gold is now priced at Rs. 1,44,300 per tola, up from Rs. 1,42,700 per tola the previous day.

Tejabi gold has also seen a notable rise, reaching Rs. 1,43,600 per tola, up by Rs. 1,600 from the previous day’s price of Rs. 1,42,000 per tola. This surge highlights the ongoing volatility in the precious metals market.

On June 7, 2024, fine gold peaked at Rs. 1,45,000 per tola, showcasing the fluctuating nature of gold prices. Alongside gold, the price of silver has also increased by Rs. 40 per tola, now standing at Rs. 1,865 per tola compared to the previous day’s Rs. 1,825 per tola.

This upward trend in domestic markets is influenced by global economic factors. Currently, the international gold rate is $2,354.90 per ounce, while silver is priced at $30.28 per ounce.
