Gold Prices Hit New Record in Nepal, Surging to Rs. 1,59,200 per Tola


Gold prices in Nepal reached new heights on September 23, 2024, continuing their upward trend. As per the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold surged to Rs. 1,59,200 per tola, marking a significant increase from the previous day’s Rs. 1,58,800 per tola.

Tejabi gold also saw an increase, with its price rising to Rs. 1,58,500 per tola. This reflects a jump of Rs. 400 compared to the prior day’s price of Rs. 1,58,100 per tola.

The surge in gold prices follows a recent peak on September 22, 2024, when fine gold was valued at Rs. 1,58,800 per tola, highlighting the ongoing volatility in the market.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained stable at Rs. 1,920 per tola, providing a contrast to the fluctuating gold market.
