The gold market in Nepal has seen a significant decline, with fine gold prices dropping by Rs. 1,200 per tola. According to the latest report from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now being sold at Rs. 152,100 per tola, a decrease from its previous rate of Rs. 153,300 per tola.
Tejabi gold has also experienced a similar price drop. It is now priced at Rs. 151,400 per tola, a Rs. 1,200 fall from its prior rate of Rs. 152,600 per tola. This decline comes after fine gold reached its highest rate of Rs. 153,300 per tola on September 6, 2024.
Silver prices are following the same downward trend, with a reduction of Rs. 45 per tola. Silver is now valued at Rs. 1,750 per tola, down from Rs. 1,795 per tola.
The drop in prices is also reflected in global markets, where gold is currently priced at $2,497.20 per ounce, and silver is at $27.93 per ounce.
