The fine gold market has seen a notable decrease, with prices falling by Rs. 2,400 per tola. According to the latest update from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now priced at Rs. 145,000 per tola, down from the previous rate of Rs. 147,400 per tola.
Tejabi gold has also experienced a price drop, now valued at Rs. 144,300 per tola, which is Rs. 2,400 less than the previous closing price of Rs. 146,700 per tola.
This reduction follows a peak on July 17, 2024, when fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 149,800 per tola.
Additionally, silver prices have decreased by Rs. 55 per tola. The current market rate for silver is Rs. 1,750 per tola, compared to yesterday’s closing rate of Rs. 1,805 per tola.
