Twenty-one commercial banks, of a total of twenty-seven, have announced that they will pay dividends in double digit percentages. Nabil Bank will distribute the biggest amount of its profit made in 2020/2 as dividends, according to the bank’s financial statements. The bank’s stockholders got 33.60 percent of the total payouts in and 4.4 percent in cash dividends.

In a similar vein, Banijya Bank has declared dividends of 33 percent, and Himalayan Bank has declared dividends of 26 percent to its shareholders. Civil Bank, which pays dividends at a rate of 5.26 percent, is the least profitable bank in the group.
