Darma in Salyan’s Darma has been completed by the Nabil Bank sustainable banking and financial literacy program.
In addition, as part of the program, Nabil Bank has inked an agreement with the Darma Rural Municipality for the promotion of entrepreneurship and financial access through Digam Banking.
The collaboration agreement was signed on behalf of Nabil Bank by Lila Prasad Ojha, Nabil Sustainable Banking Manager, and Chairman Nim Bahadur KC on behalf of the bank.
Using this partnership, the goal is to provide loans to entrepreneurs who want to start their own business through various enterprise-related programs/training at a local level, in accordance with the bank’s rules, as well as to conduct financial literacy orientation programs in conjunction with such programs/training.
Tek Bahadur Basnet, the Federal Member of Parliament for Karnali, was in attendance.

The bank has launched two new loan programs as part of the program: the Nabil Farmers Loan and the Nabil Entrepreneur Loan.
