    Synergy Power Development Limited (SPDL) has announced the commencement of a new issuance, offering a 2:1 (or 1:0.5) ratio of 4,032,875 units of right shares to its current shareholders. Priced at a par value of Rs. 100 per share, the issuance started on 3rd Bhadra and will continue until the closing date on 24th Bhadra, 2080, during office hours.

    This hydropower company is introducing 50% right shares, equivalent to Rs. 40.32 Crores in value, through the distribution of 4,032,875 units of right shares to its existing shareholders. With a current paid-up capital of Rs. 80,65,75,000, the company’s paid-up capital is set to grow to Rs. 120.98 Crores following the adjustment for the proposed right share issuance.

The company’s primary income source, power sales, has experienced a decline of 4.82 percent, amounting to Rs. 12.84 crores for FY 2079-80.

    A total of 18,55,211 unit bonus shares of Arun Kabeli Power Limited (AKPL) have recently been listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). The listing comes after the company’s 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on the 30th of Kartik, where a dividend of 10.5263% for the fiscal year 2078/79 was approved. The board of directors, during a meeting on Kartik 06, decided to distribute this dividend based on the paid-up capital, which stands at Rs. 1.85 Arba.

    The proposed dividend consists of 10% bonus shares valued at Rs. 18.55 Crores and a cash dividend of 0.5263% amounting to Rs. 1.05 Crores. These bonus shares are now officially listed on the NEPSE, making them available for trading.

    As of the current writing, the Last Traded Price (LTP) of AKPL stands at Rs. 227.50. Investors and shareholders will be able to trade the newly listed bonus shares on the exchange, reflecting the company’s distribution of profits among its shareholders for the specified fiscal year.

    Ngadi Group Power Limited (NGPL) has scheduled a Special General Meeting (SGM) to take place on the 14th of Shrawan, 2080. The meeting will be held at Lord Party Venue in Dhumbarahi and is set to commence at 10 am on that day.

    The SGM will address several important agendas, including the endorsement of 100% right shares based on the company’s current paid-up capital of Rs. 1.85 Arba. Another item on the agenda is the proposed change in the company’s location, which will require amending the Articles of Association subsequent to the issuance of the right shares. The shareholders will be asked to grant full authority to the Board of Directors (BoDs) to execute the necessary actions related to these amendments in accordance with the guidance provided by the regulatory board. Additionally, the meeting will discuss the repayment of debt incurred by the company.

    It is important to note that the book closure date is set for Shrawan 04. Shareholders who maintain their ownership before this date will be eligible to attend the SGM.

    The hydropower company plans to issue 50% right shares valued at Rs. 40.32 Crores. This will involve the issuance of 4,032,875 (in a ratio of 1:0.50) units of right shares to its existing shareholders. Currently, the company has a paid-up capital of Rs. 80,65,75,000. Upon the completion of the proposed right share adjustment, the paid-up capital will increase to Rs. 120.98 crores.

    Api Power Company Limited (API) has announced that today is the final day for shareholders to be eligible for its rights offering. The hydropower company plans to issue 40% right shares, amounting to Rs. 1.65 Arba, through the issuance of 1,65,33,137 units of right shares to its existing shareholders. This offering will increase the company’s paid-up capital from Rs. 4.13 Arba to Rs. 5.78 Arba.

    To participate in the rights offering, shareholders must have maintained their ownership in the company until today. The book closure date has been set for Ashad 22, 2080, which means that only shareholders who meet this requirement will be eligible to participate in the rights offering.

    Ngadi Group Power Limited (NGPL) has proposed to offer 100% rights shares to its existing shareholders. The proposal was made during a recent Board of Directors meeting.

    NGPL’s Siurikhola Small Hydropower Project, located in Lamjung District, Gandaki Province, with a capacity of 4.95 MW, has been performing well due to regular maintenance. However, additional funds are needed to maintain existing projects, settle payments, invest in new projects, attract investments, create jobs, and increase national capital.

    To address this funding requirement, NGPL aims to issue rights shares in a 1:1 ratio to its current shareholders. This will increase the company’s paid-up capital from Rs. 1.85 Arba to Rs. 3.7 Arba.

    Approval from the Electricity Regulatory Commission and subsequent endorsement at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) are necessary for the issuance of the rights shares.

    NGPL had previously issued 150% rights shares to its shareholders.

    As of July 02, NGPL shares were trading at Rs. 241.

    The 132 KV Dordi Corridor Double Circuit Transmission Line Project has successfully connected 126.84 MW of electricity. This transmission line was built to transfer power from the Dordi River and its tributaries in Lamjung efficiently. Previously, the power infrastructure in the region was not fully utilized due to a lack of electricity. However, since the activation of the transmission line last Bhadra, electricity generated from four completed projects in the Dordi River (118.1 MW) and the Chepe River (8.83 MW) has been successfully linked to the grid.
