    Unique Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (UNLB) is concluding the issuance of its 379,425 unit FPO (Further Public Offering) shares to the general public. The issue, which began on 11th Jestha, 2080, will close today on 17th Jestha.

    Currently, the company has a paid-up capital of Rs. 11.06 crores, with 94.01% of shares (10,40,025 units) held by promoter shareholders and 5.99% (66,300 units) held by public shareholders. However, as per the requirements of the Banks and Financial Institutions Act of 2073 and the NRB (Nepal Rastra Bank), a minimum of 30% of the issued capital must be retained by public shareholders. Therefore, the company will issue 3,79,425 units of FPO shares to the general public. After the FPO, the promoter-to-public share structure will change from 94:6 to 70:30.

    It is important to note that Unique Nepal Laghubitta had initially planned to issue an IPO for 2.70 lakh shares. However, following a successful merger with Ghodighoda Laghubitta, the joint operation under the name of Unique Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited commenced on 30th Poush, 2078. As Ghodighoda Laghubitta was already a publicly listed company, the merged entity opted for an FPO to adjust the shareholding ratio.

    The company aims to raise Rs. 3.79 crore through this FPO. Muktinath Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the FPO. Investors can apply for a minimum of 10 units and a maximum of 1000 units. The paid-up capital of the company will increase to Rs. 14.85 crores after the issuance of the mentioned FPO shares.

    According to CDSC (Central Depository System and Clearing Limited), a total of 12,85,226 applications have been received, requesting a total of 14,961,420 units. As a result, the issue is already oversubscribed by 39.4 times.

    Mithila Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBBL) recently listed 2,55,655.77 unit bonus shares on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). The company held its 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 17th of Falgun, during which it approved a dividend of 15.789% for the fiscal year 2078/79.

    In addition to the dividend, the board of directors, in its 231st meeting on Poush 28, decided to distribute 15% bonus shares valued at Rs. 2.55 crores and a cash dividend of 0.789473681%, amounting to Rs. 13.45 lakhs. These dividends were distributed from MLBBL’s paid-up capital of Rs. 17.04 crores. Now, these bonus shares have been officially listed on NEPSE.

    As of the time of writing, the Last Traded Price (LTP) of MLBBL’s shares on NEPSE stands at Rs. 750.

Subsequently, in a board of directors meeting on Poush 30, it was decided to distribute bonus shares worth Rs. 8,29,02,656.95 from the company’s paid-up capital of Rs. 41.45 crores.

    The bonus shares have already been listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). Therefore, shareholders who held shares before the book closure date, which was Falgun 02, are required to pay the applicable tax on the proposed dividend.

    Furthermore, if eligible investors had obtained a loan using their shares as collateral before the book closure date, they must provide a No Objection Letter from their lending institution in order to receive the dividend.

    Starting the day at 1,821.54, the index reached an intraday low of 1,821.02 but surged to a high of 1,846.72 before settling at 1,845.01 at the closing bell.

    During the trading day, a total of 266 stocks were traded through 25,634 transactions. The trading volume amounted to 2,577,210 shares, with a turnover of Rs. 85.76 Crores. This marked an increase in turnover compared to the previous trading day’s turnover of Rs. 64.01 Crores.

    Among the traded stocks, SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) recorded the highest turnover of Rs. 5.46 crores, closing at a market price of Rs. 403.50 per share.

    Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ANLB) experienced the highest gain of 9.99% and reached the positive circuit for the day.

    In contrast, Mai Khola Hydropower Limited (MKHL) suffered the highest decline of 7.93% during today’s trading.

    All sector indices concluded the day in positive territory, with the “Others” sector witnessing the highest gain of 2.37%, while the “Mutual Fund” sector registered the smallest gain of 0.04%.

    ILBS’s operating profit has experienced a significant decline of 88.48%, amounting to Rs. 1.94 crores up to the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal year. Additionally, the non-performing loan (NPL) of the company has nearly tripled, reaching 14.04%.

    Furthermore, minor fluctuations have been observed in the company’s deposits, borrowings, and personnel expenses, with changes of -1.02%, -6.32%, and 6.77% respectively, as indicated in the third-quarter report.

    Infinity Laghubitta maintains a paid-up capital of Rs. 49.74 crores, along with Rs. 17.96 crores in the form of reserve and surplus, which includes reserves and retained earnings.

    The company’s earnings per share (EPS) ratio is lower at Rs. 3.70, while the net worth per share stands at Rs. 136.11.

    At the end of the third quarter, the company’s closing price was Rs. 644.90.

These bonus shares are now listed in NEPSE, and the closing price of NBL shares stands at Rs. 245.

    Similarly, Forward Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (FOWAD) has also listed 21,11,127.469 unit bonus shares in NEPSE. The company held its 10th Annual General Meeting for the fiscal year 2078/79 on Poush 30, 2079, where a 30% dividend was endorsed. During a board of directors meeting on Poush 04, it was decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 84.44 Crores, which included a 5% cash dividend (including tax) worth Rs. 4.22 Crores and a 25% bonus dividend worth Rs. 21.11 Crores. Meanwhile, the operating profit experienced a substantial decline of 90% and reached Rs. 1.61 crores during the same period. The net interest income, which represents the core revenue of the microfinance institution, also decreased to Rs. 25.96 crores, reflecting a decline of 25.85% compared to the corresponding quarter of FY 078/79.

    However, concerning financial performance, NMBMF faced challenges as the non-performing loan (NPL) ratio more than doubled, reaching 8.97%. This increase indicates a higher proportion of loans in default or showing signs of financial distress.

    In terms of earnings per share (EPS), the company reported a slump to Rs. 2.34, while the net worth per share stood at Rs. 164.73 for NMBMF.

    At the end of the third quarter of the current fiscal year, the quarter-end price of NMBMF’s shares was Rs. 525.
