    Shine Resunga Development Bank Ltd (SHINE) has launched 50,28,741.99 unit bonus shares on NEPSE.

    On the 25th Poush, the firm held its 14th AGM and approved a 14% dividend for fiscal year 2078/79. On the 7th of Mangsir 2079, the 266th meeting of the board of directors suggested a 14% dividend from the paid-up capital. The bank has a paid-up capital of Rs. 3.78 Arba. There was a proposal for 13.3% bonus shares worth Rs. 50.28 crores and a 0.7% cash dividend (including tax) of Rs 2.64 crores.

    Today, SHINE finished at Rs. 335.90.

    Bindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company Ltd (BHDC) has launched 5,00,000 units of bonus shares on NEPSE.

    On 22nd Poush, the business had its 6th AGM and approved a 5.02632% dividend for fiscal year 2078/79. The board of directors resolved to issue the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 1 Arba at its meeting on Mangsir 29. A 5% bonus share and a cash dividend of 0.02632% (for bonus share tax purposes) were proposed. NEPSE now lists the same bonus shares.

    Statistics reveals that commercial banks combined have achieved a total net profit of Rs. 36 Arba and 89 crores. Nabil Bank is the most profitable of the 22 commercial banks, with a net profit of Rs. 4 Arba and 13 crores. Similarly, NIC Asia Bank had a net profit of Rs. 3 Arba and 67 crores. Global IME Bank, on the other hand, has made a net profit of Rs. 3 Arba and 55 Crores. Agricultural Development Bank, on the other hand, has the lowest net profit of Rs. 10 crores.

    – With the successful merger of Global IME Bank and Bank of Kathmandu, the joint transaction in the name of Global IME Bank began on Poush 25, 2079.

    The Securities Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) has approved Rawa Energy Development Limited’s proposed initial public offering (IPO) on Falgun 25.

    The company will now issue 840,000 equity shares at NPR 100 per share. The issue is worth Rs. 8.4 crore. This is equivalent to 30% of the company’s issued capital. The company’s total paid-up capital following the IPO allotment would be Rs 28 crores.

    Prabhu Capital Limited has been appointed as the proposed IPO’s issue manager.

    For the first eight months of the current fiscal year 2079/80, the government’s budget deficit exceeded Rs. 1.56 Kharba. By the end of Falgun, the government had spent 7.79 Kharba of its budget, but had only collected 6.22 Kharba in total revenue.

    Meanwhile, only 22.15% of capital expenditure (CAPEX) is used until the end of Falgun’s fiscal year 2079/80.

    The government’s capital expenditure is the money spent on the development of physical assets. In Nepal, the capital budget is funded by balancing domestic revenue after the recurrent budget, grants, and loans have been met. According to the Financial Comptroller General Office, only Rs. 84.25 Arba of the capital budget has been spent out of the targeted budget of Rs. 3.80 Kharba.

    Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited was formed as a private limited company on February 16, 2009, and was later converted to a public limited company on October 31, 2017, to allow for public participation. The company operates the 3.75-MW Dwari Khola Small Hydropower Project in Nepal’s Dailekh District, Karnali Province. The project began commercial operations on May 6, 2017, ahead of the required COD of June 30, 2017, and was built at a total cost of NPR 734 million (NPR 196 million per MW) with an initial debt-to-equity ratio of 82:18.

    Shangrila Development Bank Announces 8.983% Dividend Worth Rs 27.04 Crores for FY 2078/79


    Shangrila Development Bank Limited (SADBL) has proposed a dividend of 8.983% amounting to Rs. 27.04 crores for fiscal year 2078/79. The board of directors decided on Magh 26 to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 3.01 Arba. There has been proposed an 8.534% bonus share and a 0.449% cash dividend (for tax purposes). Thus, the bonus shares are worth slightly more than Rs. 25.69 crores, and the cash dividend is worth slightly more than Rs. 1.35 crores.

    This is 0.57% increase. 
    Yesterday, the index fell 7.13 points.
    Today, the index began at 2,171.17 and closed at 2,153.31. 
    It reached high of 2,183.75 before settling at 2,182.61.
    In 35,450 transactions, 257 scrips changed hands. 
    total of 5,648,212 shares were traded, totaling Rs. 2.062 Arba in activity. 
    This is less than the previous day’s turnover of Rs. 3.691 Arba.

    API Power Company Ltd. (API) shares were the most actively traded, with total turnover of Rs. 5.86 crores at market price of Rs. 302 per share.Barahi Hydropower Public Limited (BHPL) gained the most, gaining 10% and closing the day on good note.

    Nabil Balanced Fund-3 (NBF3), on the other hand, lost the most today, losing 5.75%.Only one sector finished in the negative today, “Mutual Fund,” which lost 0.20%, while “Development Bank” gained the most, 1.46%.

    Visiting Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Samantha Power, met with Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel at the latter’s office  in Singha Durbar today. The meeting touched on an array of subjects including the bilateral relations between Nepal and the US, it has been said.

    On the occasion, Minister Paudel said Nepal for the first time got foreign assistances after signing the point for programme in 1951, and the development partnership between the two countries reached a new height so far since. He also recalled the 75th anniversary of the bilateral relations between the two countries last year.
